My Truck

Not sure why you never offered a hybrid? I wouldn’t have bought a hybrid, but it seems that’s why the Ford Maverick has beat you out!

As soon as the warranty expires it starts to fall apart

My truck was 600 miles past my 60,000 mile warranty, and while sitting parked, the latch broke. It wasn't a sensor, the latch was broke.

Good, practical but comfort is a question

I do like this car and enjoy having a truck bed, the comfort for long drives is lacking, after driving for about an hour or so, you will start to notice how uncomfortable it is. The cabin is noisy, specially when breaking, you will hear a weird buzzing sound. The infotainment system is ok, I constantly get a black screen and brought this up to hyundai and they ignore it. The drive is somewhat smooth, it will stahl and I have brought this up as well. It has often been giving issues with the throttle and the dealership has brushed it off as well. The car is average, with a lot of room for improvement, it is perfect for a person living a single life, definitely not a family car.

Absent dealership maintenance because I purchased the vehicle

The Santa Cruz should be perfect but there are flaws that could be repaired under factory maintenance but because I purchased the vehicle I got zero factory maintenance under my warranty intentionally at Matt Bowers Hyundai Slidell. This is a team of con artists.

I bought my vehicle as it came off a 12 month lease I was only given one key fob As it turned out, my wife lost the only one. The cost to replace, purchase a spare and have programmed by the dealership was $1,500 Why so much??? My other car, a Subaru was only 230 with same functions

Santa Cruz

The Santa Cruz handles beautifully. I love the acceleration from a stop. The driver seat is comfortable and easily adjusted. The passenger seat would be more comfortable with additional features for adjustment. I would definitely add front end warnings. It would be much easier when pulling in or out of a parking space if warned when too close to next car. Also when pulling up to the car in the opposing parking space.
