Absent dealership maintenance because I purchased the vehicle

The Santa Cruz should be perfect but there are flaws that could be repaired under factory maintenance but because I purchased the vehicle I got zero factory maintenance under my warranty intentionally at Matt Bowers Hyundai Slidell. This is a team of con artists.

All great except…

I bought my vehicle as it came off a 12 month lease I was only given one key fob As it turned out, my wife lost the only one. The cost to replace, purchase a spare and have programmed by the dealership was $1,500 Why so much??? My other car, a Subaru was only 230 with same functions

Santa Cruz

The Santa Cruz handles beautifully. I love the acceleration from a stop. The driver seat is comfortable and easily adjusted. The passenger seat would be more comfortable with additional features for adjustment. I would definitely add front end warnings. It would be much easier when pulling in or out of a parking space if warned when too close to next car. Also when pulling up to the car in the opposing parking space.

The does most everything for everyday life vehicle.

The Santa Cruz does a great job of giving you the comfort of a compact SUV, and the utility to haul large(ish) and dirty cargo in an open bed, all in a stylish package.

Great little whatever it is. Get to run with the Jeeps one day and pick up trucks the next. The turbo kills your mileage but still kinda makes it worth it.

Great little truck!

2024 Santa Cruz, great truck. Smart driving mode is best for performance. Daytime running lights are great. Headlights at night could be better-seems hood lid extends over highlights, making lights not shine at correct height. Bright lights are good. Inside is comfortable, driver seat adjustments are great, along with all safety features.

Ferg’s Get Around Truck

I absolutely love my Santa Cruz! It is perfect for concerts, float trips, grocery shopping, and hauling plants back from the farmer’s market. It gets around great in the Winter without the hassle of a large 4x4. Plenty of room for four people as well as my Bulldog.

Love the Santa Cruz except for apparent issues others are having with the DCT transmission. Fortunately, I have not had the issue with my transmission. Wish it was available as a hybrid.

Near perfect small truck

Get rid of piano black. People use vehicle as a truck. Have wireless Android Auto. Get rid of self leveling rear axel to reduce cost and complexity. Give a hybrid all wheel option and a slightly longer bed and it's a perfect small truck.
