Love this truck

Ironically enough, I never expected to get this truck. When I first laid eyes on it I thought it was odd looking and not very aesthetically pleasing. However, it grew on me the more I saw it and then I finally decided to get one. It’s my first truck and it’s the perfect size for me. I don’t do a ton of “truck stuff” so the size of the vehicle overall is perfect. The only issue I’ve had with it is the front end grille. The spaces were wide enough to let a stray rock or two over time in which ended up puncturing my condenser and radiator. Both repairs cost me $3,000 out of pocket. I had to install an aftermarket grille protection piece to hopefully stop it from happening again. Other than that, I absolutely adore this truck and it’s a joy to drive every single day.

Love this car but road noise is high

I love this car, in black it's super unique and fun. I understand that the DCT transmission wasn't the best choice and might have been a decision that didn't work ultimately but I love the car. Im excited about future truck and rugged SUV options form your brand. My only complaint about the car is the road noise, adding some extra sound deadening would be amazing on all vehicles. For me that increases the luxury of any car no matter its place in the market. It's hard to hear clear audio on the highway above 70.

Please keep in mind the majority of the time I drive my car I am by myself, with my dog and my Husband. We do not use the back seat for passengers unless it is my small grand kids for short drives.

Love my TRUCK-ET!

Small but strong. Can haul things in the bed or tow a trailer. Gets great gas mileage, loaded with safety features. Comfortable and fun to drive. LOVE IT! A lot of thought was put into designing this Santa Cruz.

radiator issue not the only one with it

my radiator got hit with something and it had to be towed. the service people stated that something hit it and it broke the radiator and it was the 3rd one in the shop for the same reason. he recommended a net but why is the front grill not smaller in the openings to prevent these issues.

A lot of fun and function

My 2924 XRY has met all my expectations. No mechanical issues routine maintenance and excellent fuel economy. My total mileage is 14000. I enjoy the engine responsiveness And various driving modes. Particularly enjoy the AWD in the rainy Northwest. Turning radius’s and lack of proximity sensors took getting used to but otherwise exceptional tech makes up for it. Comfortable for a 6’3” man and a pleasure to drive distance on adaptive cruise nearly autopilot. Overall great value and met all my expectations

The Cruck

I have owned this vehicle for 2 years and for a 50 year old man with adult children it is perfect for me. The best features: are fun to drive, lots of power, covered trunk is great, I love the design, seats are comfortable, handles great. The backseat has little leg room so it would not be good for more than 2 adults. The fuel milage is not great. The best I ever got was 28mpg on smart mode on the interstate. I usually get on average around 22mpg for local driving. The Santa Cruz is the best driving vehicle I have owned. I highly recommend if it suits your needs.
