I love the Cruz

This is my SECOND Santa Cruz! Loving the new 2026 even more than the first one. The dashboard re-design is beautiful and functional. The trucklet is great! The ride is smooth, performance is great, the Turbo uses a little more fuel but really makes the engine responsive. It makes me sorry to hear that the Santa Cruz is being discontinued. It's the perfect size for a single woman who doesn't need a full size truck. I don't like putting potting soil or bags of manure (yuck!) inside my vehicle. Sometimes a lady just needs a little bit of a truck.

Overperforming small truck

For a small pickup, it has a lot of power, fast pickup and torque. Lower step-in height makes it easy to get in and out. All the safety features are amazing. I especially like the rear/side camera view on the dash when turning or changing lanes. Rides well, and the short bed with cover has plenty of room for most jobs. I also like the 5k towing capacity, and 1,300 lb bed capacity.

Good car overall.

Definitely a good car, just wish there were a few minor adjustments on control panel. The touch pad by the heat, etc. overlaps with the buttons underneath which sets them off unintentionally . Basically they are too close to each other. Also, the transmission seems to rev when going up hill, more than I am used to in other cars.

Great but not good

I love this car. It is not a good truck however. Great gas mileage, great features, and the ride is awesome. The only issues is the bed size and hauling capability. I know it is not meant to be a real truck.

Best cool little truck

I have a small business and rent houses and I do side jobs. I have a 3/4 ton large truck that I use but sometimes all I’m carrying is a tool box. I wanted a small truck for the small jobs and the Santa Cruz was perfect. Good size and it looks great. I’m still keeping my big truck for the large jobs but this truck is perfect . It rides smooth and It looks great inside. I’m planing on keeping this truck for a long time .
