Love my car EXCEPT

ACCELERATION When turning a corner and press on gas petal it stops and wont go for few seconds Very SCARY thinking your going to get hit Seems to be getting worst Service could not find anything wrong

having so much trouble

our cars engine blew at about 18 months with the 2.0 Turbo. Part broke off spark plug. Removed and replaced block after 22 days. Get car back and it overheats red square loud beeping and heat Gage all the way to hot. this will be our 2nd time for this problem.

Love my car EXCEPT

ACCELERATION when turning corner and press on gas sometimes it hesitate for few seconds and then takes off. Very SCARY thinking your going to get hit. Seems to be getting worst. I am not the only one

Just average

I feel for a SUV this vehicle has no power. It strains quite a bit. The vehicle looks great , feels great but had no get up in my opinion. I have had several SUV vehicles and this one isn’t in the top 3 .

My leased 2017 Santa Fe

The Santa Fe makes a noise when first started and it stays on until the engine is warmed up or for a few minutes. I am told it's the turbo engine but my other 2014 Santa Fe has also a turbo engine and does not make that noise. It should be corrected by manufacturer. Also the seats do not have good suspensions and ride rough ( i.e. compared to Nissan Murano or other SUVs). When the "R" is inserted (reverse) the back camera does not immediately turn on and it happens on and off.

Santa Fe S ehhh

Nice vehicle with many options. Cons... the vehicle sputters around turns and seems to not get adequate gas flow. Even with the turbo sport package it sometimes acts as if it is t getting the gas properly. DO NOT buy the black out rims. The paint peels and they are defective. The dealership wants to charge me to fix them. They preach a 60k bumper to bumper warranty and then tell me the rims have a seperate 36k warranty when I report the issue. I was never presented with or given a copy of this so called warranty. Shady.

Wheel nalifnment

I brought the vehicle back after two months and told service the car wandered on the road. After a wheel alignment the mechanic said I was not use to sport utilities. At my tire rotation I saw excessive tire ware and brought it into service. Again it needed an a alignment. Trouble is who is responsible for the tires at the end of the lease? After only 19000mi it looks to me that the tires will not pass inspection. How will it be at 36000 miles? I brought it to the dealerships attention but no one seems to care. They just want a good rating.

Noisy/Vibrating rear seats

I am beginning to dislike my 2017 Santa Fe Sport. The rear seat vibrates uncontrollably and makes a chirping sound that is very distracting. I’ve had it to the dealer several times with no answers.

Quality Going Down

This is my second Santa Fe and my 2011 was made much better than my 2017. This model seems more plastic and less sturdy. The handling seems better, but not sure the vehicle will last as long as I hope.

Hyundai Santa Fe

Overall I am happy with my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe vehicle, although there are a few items why I would not purchase another one. First, the gas tank is very small, especially with the lower gas mileage, although I do not know the exact size, I put in about 13 gallons each time I fill up. Next, one of the selling features was that it was a turbo, Sport edition with great pick up - The car has the worst pick up I have ever had on a vehicle. The first time I asked about this - the service person said I had to break it in and it would get better after I got 5000 - 10,000 miles on it. When I brought it in again to ask about this, the response was this is normal and many people are complaining of this. My last complaint is that the Blu Link package that I want (I want to be able to start my car from my phone) cost $200.00 a year. The Santa Fe does not come with a Key Fob that starts the car either.

My opinion

Navigation system is limited. It has a turbo lag which is dangerous. There is no passenger side seatbelt alert just a light that flashes which can’t be seen when it’s a sunny day. It does have a decent ride and has a good paint job.

Pissed Off

This is absolutely the worst of the four Hyundai I have purchased from your organization. I had considered seriously of contacting just before I received this survey to exercise my right to complain about a vehicle that does in no way represent the first Hyundai I bought. I keep them for two years, maintain the scheduled maintenance to the best of my ability. The inside cabin upon trade in is immaculate, and the mileage is usually around 33,000 to 40,000 miles leaving a good buy for the next person. P.S this system is designed to that you can not submit this survey without sliding the ruler all the way to the highest level so my answers are as such. 8,9,5,5,9,3,8,10,10,10 from top to bottom.

2017 Santa Fe sport

Transmission/engine hesitates at times. From a dead stop or a rolling "stop". Press the accelerator and nothing happens. I was told it was characteristic of dual clutch transmissions. I don't care, it is unsafe, fix the problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay

It's not bad it's just not what I expected. I have to drive mostly in sport to get some horse power and burn a lot of gas . I love Hyundai just not sure if the santa fe sports is the right suv for me.

Nice car but power is lacking

I will not buy a l ou w cylinder full sized car again. The gas mileage is not good or what is should be. The ride is comfortable. When a quick acceleration is needed for safety, it does not always happen, but cuts out before catching up and moving on out.

Becoming a disappointment

The sunroof spontaneously exploded yesterday. The clearcoat on the wheels started peeling....I would have preferred to have new ones, but they just refinished them. I really don't expect it to last long...if it didn't last new...why would it last refinished?? The tires that came on it had a bad spot and made noise from early on. We had to replace them with no rebate, so we took them to Discount Tire because they take care of their customers. The seat coolers have never worked properly. Overall, it has been a good car, but I think we overpaid. I probably won't buy another Hyundai. I was under the impression that they were very customer oriented...but the dealership in Burleson isn't, in my opinion. I will definitely look at other brands for my next vehicle.

Santa Fe sport

I’m very disappointed with the interior of my car. The drivers seat is adequate but the front passenger seat is dismal. It’s too low for comfort and has no adjustments. Any time I travel as the front seat passenger I use a pillow to raise my seat. I’m 5’5” and have never had this issue in another car. Also, the upholstery does not clean well. There are marks in the rear seats that I’ve tried several times to remove.

Is a good veicle fun to drive good gas mileage stile nice wheel have coples problem you can kip the veicle in the middle of the road is like drivin a boat a problem whit transmission have a delays i bent take the veicle to the dealer theo said all is under normal
