I get pretty good gas mileage however wish it had folding side mirrors and glare reduction in rearview mirroe instead of the sticker on it!

What More Could You Ask For?

I have been extremely pleased with my 2023 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited. When I went shopping for a new car, I loved the style of the Tucson and started there. I was originally going to opt for the SEL trim package, but when I drove the Limited trim, I was sold. So many wonderful features at a decent price meant I got my dream vehicle with no compromises. Too many features and luxury options to list here, but I definitely recommend the hybrid powertrain. You get the benefits of an electric vehicle without the range anxiety. Fuel mileage is terrific and the performance is impressive. The only downside of the 2023 Tucson is the lack of physical/tactile control buttons, but this has been changed for the 2024 and forward. Love the design, performance, and quality of my Tucson!

Reliable

It runs fairly well. Though the hesitation upon turning after a full stop is concerning. The check engine light is also turning on and off continuously, and Hyundai is unable to diagnose, which is also of concern.

Hyundai tuscon hybrid

It's all good, but there are two main issues: 1. Poor mileage, and 2. The auto cruise problem suddenly stops working when the front car is at a stop. Also, the sock absorbers are stiff and jerky even on small bumps.

Problem with transmission

We have experienced several times when driving the car would lose power and the engine would rev. Luckily it happens when the car is in motion and we are able to coast to the side of the road. We attempt to put the car in other modes (sport, smart, snow) but get the same revving without result. When we put the car in neutral there is a clunking noise and putting it back in gear doesn’t always work. Restarting the car usually does. We have taken it to the dealership but they said unless they can duplicate the problem Hyundai won’t fix it. Unfortunately it doesn’t happen every time and we never know when it will occur. I am concerned we are going to be stuck somewhere or in traffic when it totally fails. Otherwise, I would love my vehicle.

Love everything except the climate control system. The air conditioning is slow to respond so it can feel pretty miserable when the weather is hot, especially when running errands.

The best vehicle I have ever owned.

I like the safety features and the cooling seats. The "no buttons" design on the dash is great - although I have read that feature wasn't a hit with the US market. I would consider purchasing a Hyundai again in the future. Good experience with the Dealership as well as the Service Department. I like to keep cars 10 years - I hope this care continues to perform as well as it has for the first 2 years I have owned it!
