Meh.....
This is the third Tuscon that I have purchased brand new. I fell in love with this vehicle when it first came into the market. I had little to no problems with either my 2005, or my 2011 Tuscons. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for my latest Tuscon, a 2016 limited with all the bells and whistles- this one has been the worst! I have had major problems with it including an AC compressor dying at 1.5 years old, a defective/malfunctioning blind spot detection system, and a defective/failing airbag system. All of these problems on a car that is not even 2 years old! I am so disappointed in the quality/performance/reliability of this vehicle. Thankfully, Hyundai has a good warranty and all repairs have been covered with nothing out of my pocket, but it is still quite inconvenient to have a vehicle that is in for repair more than it is out.
