Happy Owner

I usually spend months reviewing websites and magazines. I purchased this car with very little research based primarily on my satisfaction with two previous Hyundai vehicles. I also liked the way it looked. I have the Sport model with the Turbo engine and 7 speed dual clutch transmission. It has plenty of pep on the highway, and still gets excellent gas mileage in mixed use driving. I've had no problems in two years, of driving. My only complaint is the dual clutch transmission is not as smooth as the similar transmission in my VW Golf R.

For the Most Part it has been a good car.

For some reason 2016 and it still looks new. I get compliments on the color. There is on occasion that slight hesitation when taking off. Like most new cars, I had to get new tires after a year due to the Minnesota weather. The radio button on my steering wheel no longer worked at 59,800 so I just got it in to be covered by warranty. There is always that “black hole” in between the front seat and middle compartment. I have lost a credit card, drivers license, etc., in that space and it is extremely difficult to get your hand in that space (and I am little). I actually had to get a new drivers license only to find it three weeks later in that spot! Ugh

My Hyundai 2016 Tuson limited

My wife and I like our car very much. It is very comfortable, well appointed and has many safety features. The one thing and I am not sure Hyundai has Corrected this is the engine hesitation problem. My car had a recall but, the problem after leaving the dealer was the same.

minus the before mentioned problem...we are happy with the vehicle.. we had a 2011 santa_fe and enjoyed owning it ...we are satisfied with hyundai products and would recommend to friends......the day we bought this , we had not planned this at all..we are not impulse buyers but things do happen

2016 Hyundai Tucson

After owning this vehicle for over 4 years and putting over 16000 miles on it, I must say it is a great choice for a compact crossover SUV. It handles like a sedan, has plenty of power, and plenty of storage space. The 1.6L turbo engine is an engineering marvel. The vehicle feels like it has a V8. The electronics are a little buggy, and the backup camera may go dark for no apparent reason on rare occasions. Acceleration from a standing stop has a very slight hesitation, which is sometimes annoying, but one gets used to it.

2016 Tucson Hyundai

It has been a very good car. I’ve bern having a few problems with the transmission. It doesn’t always go when I press on the gas, or there is a hesitation like it might die. I really liked that the driver side seat you could fill the lumbar with air. Unfortunately it didn’t last.

Love it.

I would definitely purchase another Hyundai product. In fact, the new Genesis is really appealing to me for the new year. I have no complaints whatsoever, and adding the goodwill of the staff makes my car a great purchase and all the more reason for me to return for another purchase. Wilkins Hyundai is not overrated in their advertising, they're all they said are. Go Wilkins Hyundai!!!

Great Car

Sometimes on take-off from stop position, it will have a much longer than normal hesitation. Had a Computer adjustment several times. Purchased a new tire and still have a slow leak. Wondering if service technicians goes over a full checklist of car before releasing to customer?

Hesitation

Vehicle still occasionally hesitates upon moving. You step on gas pedal and nothing happens and then it goes. Very frustrating especially when you do not think you are going to make it out of the intersection. Have never heard if the engineers of this transmission have ever figured problem out. The one reason I would probly not buy another Hyundai even though the vehicle is a nice automobile

Car review

Love the vehicle but am concerned about losing oil and it is not leaking. The end result may require a new motor which makes me leary of buying another Hyundai or keeping the vehicle I have. I will need confirmation that Hyundai has corrected the problem on future vehicles. If I was to get another Hyundai I would not get one without all the bells and whistles

Even after a year of no maintenance (due to illness) had tl learn how to handle the dual shift. And occasional hesitation when starting from a stop. All in all car handles well and is fu n to drive ?

Not all things are perfect for sure

The only thing that I have had a problem with it has not been fixed in my opinion is the tires the rest of the car I like a lot. The fact that they knew that he's tires end up getting waves in them and did not do anything about it has been irritant to me and possibly will change me back to the Nissan.

2019 Hyundai Tucson

After reviewing the situation I feel that the vehicle cost is too high. I could’ve gotten a better car for the price I paid for this vehicle. Vehicle is laid on the highway. I like my Tucson but I could’ve done better. Whenever I take it to the shop with an appointment I have to wait much too long to get my car back. Sometimes is done and no one comes to say that it is. And kindness and consideration should be more genuine.

Good overall value

I like the dual clutch transmission and the turbo engine. Pretty responsive with good gas mileage. Nice highway car. Some annoying features however: rear seats backs are a pain to adjust, don't fold all the way flat, and require you to remove their headrests in order to get them to get as close to flat as they can go; roof rack is unadjustable and, with no front or back tie-downs, virtually useless.

My car gets driven a lot and in 3 years My 2016 has performed well, looks good just wish Hyundai would come out with a better Ruby Red color. I hope they fix some of the blind spots in the car that I seem to have being short. All in all it’s a car I can rely on

Generally I have enjoyed owning this vehicle. However I find it very concerning that my car clock does not work nor does there appear to be a fix. It has been over a year and no resolution or the appearance of concern by the company. I have spoke to many regarding this issue including the company’s customer care unit. To tell me there is no resolution of this issue is not an acceptable answer. Additionally I needed new back brakes, replaced approximately two months ago, at 25,000 miles. These two issues will most likely have me looking at another make of automobile for my next car which I plan to buy within the next six months. Prior to these issues I was prepared to look at another Tucson. I realize losing one customer may be deemed insignificant however Word of mouth is tour best advertisement.

BEST OF THE THREE!

My Tucson is our third Hyundai. All were great cars but this one fits our life style, as seniors, the best. We travel to NV and AZ often and average 32 to 34 MPG depending on the wind. I my book, that is great for an SUV of this sizs!
