fun vehicle / poor quality

I excitedly bought this car, hoping this would be the last car I would buy heading into reetirement. The honeymoon period was great but soon the problems started. The issues with the engine & transmission are well documented. We have replaced all the window motors except one as well as the motor for the lift gate. We paid alot of money to update the navigation/map system (which I don't feel we should have to) and it still isn't up to date; not worth the cost. Aside from these problems, I love driving this vehicle, it looks great & sporty and is very comfortable to drive. I probably will hang on to it for the foreseeable future unless the problems get worse. The value for the dollar I would have to rate as a little questionable. Other vehicles in the Hyundai line haven't had these issues/problems and are excelent vehicles. Other than a specific need, I don't think this would keep me from buying another Hyundai.

Hyundai Tucson is a good affordable vehicle and after 4 years I didn’t go through any serious issues. If you are looking for high quality and affordability I will recommend this vehicle for you. This brand has several colors that you can choose from and you can’t go wrong with any of them

Blind spots

There are so many blind spots but I love it. The routine maintenance can be costly especially if you’re not expecting it. I would definitely purchase a new one if I could afford one. I do recommend this one.

These vehicles are very good handling on the road ,very comfortable could be better on gas but alright If I had a problem still I would but the service team took care of it quickly and I am happy about that. They love cross country driving.

Vehicle Review Title ? What do you mean.

I feel safe driving the Tucson in the snow with the all wheel drive. I think its comfortable when driving. I don't like the gas mileage it gets I don't like using keys. I wish it had remote starting.

My little fun car

Fun car. I love everything about it. One wish would be to have 50 more horsepower !!! Great looks. Love the Stereo and Navigation. Interior layout and festures are great. Every window i must say i had a problem with and had to bring in to get fixed. Only bad thing i must say.

Rough beginning

brought this car new in 2016,1st month I was feeling a jerk, informed dealer, said it would go away, never did, just got worse and use to feeling it until recent recall fix. so now no jerking, feels better.

I like it.

Probably be looking at newer model of the Tucson in a few more years. Especially the sports version and package. Being able to go to dynamic shift is a plus. Split rear seats are nice and adaptable.

Needed something slightly newer.

Bought it used a year ago. Wanted something a bit bigger and newer than my 22 year old Dodge Stratus. I brought this Hyundai Tucson. I had never heard of Hyundai or the Tucson. Made a quick call to my son and daughter. My son drives a 2015 Sonata and my daughter traded in a Palisades 2 years ago. Both said they never had a problem with their vehicle. Decide to buy. I have had a great year with it.

I LOVE my Tuscan Sport!

I own a 2016 Tucson Sport and it is my 2nd favorite car i have owned.. the first being a 2001 Hyundai Sonata GLX, which had 350k miles on it and the engine was still going strong! There are a few quirks about my Tucson that I am not fond of but over all, this is fun little SUV with plenty of room, nice bells and whistles, and good gas mileage.

Still has an issue

We love our Tucson but it still has a problem with jerking at slow speed. Other than this issue which your higher ups say they have done all they could do, we will maybe trade it in for a used vehicle.

Great car have 74,000 miles on it now

Only issue was the regulator in the electric windows. I had to pay over $1,200 to repair as Hyundi knows of the problem however did not issue a recall Brahman finally got Hyundi to pay for the rear windows however Instead of doing both rear windows at the same time only authorized one window making me have to drive twice to Miami and rent a car. I am still fighting my case with Hyundi and I may have to take them to small clam court to get my $1,200 back - not to mention all the times I had to drive to Miami from my home 30 miles away - I may never buy another car from Hyundi - however I will continue to do business with Brahman - as they have other car brands to sell.

I love my vehicle

Not a problem at all, That is not fixable. This truck jerks a lot but I have gotten used to it. so I’ll be in the middle of the intersection and sometime it won’t pull off fast enough so I kinda won’t recommend a turbo Hyundai because that is very dangerous. for someone to be in the intersection and cannot move out the way fast enough so I will not buy another Tucson again. Thanks

Solid feel, fit and finish.

This is my second Hyundai and I am looking forward to the next plug in hybrid Tucson. The 2016 is an excellent driver, solid and very reliable. The 1.6 L Turbo is not exactly a screamer, but certainly fills the bill. If there is one thing that disappoints is the dual clutch transmission. Glad they got rid of it in the new models. Too much hesitation.

Love my 2016 Tucson

I traded my 2012 Tucson in for the new 2016 Tucson, I love the vehicle. It has a very smooth ride and quiet interiour noise. The safety features are great as well as the ease of reading the instrument panel. Hyundai did a great job on this redesign! Not to mention I got 32 MPG on my first tank of gas with all intown driving - can't wait to take it on a road trip. Everyone at Hanover Hyundai were wonderful to deal with from my salesperson to the finance person and the Sales Manager. This is my second purchase from Hanover Hyundai and will continue to be a loyal customer of theirs, they truly make car buying a pleasant experience.

My 2016 Tucson Review

Great little SUV for the money. The NAV and entertainment package is greatly improved over my 2012 Sonata. The climate control in A/C mode isn't accurate enough. I have to set it at 74 on cloudy days or at night. On hot sunny days I have to set it at 79 to achieve the same comfort level or it gets too cold. There is engine surge/hesitation on cold start during initial easy acceleration. Occurs sometimes during normal driving with the engine warm.
