My last 3 cars were hyuandai 's and I can see the difference in the paint. The car marks up very easy. The second is I had a issue with the floor being wet badly which I did not know was happening because I have a extra mat on the floors. The service man says it was the air conditioner hose or overflow that got clogged. This car is 2 1/2 years old and for as long as I have been l driving this has never happened. Is it just this new model the 2016 tuson sport??

2016 Hyundai Tuscon

The only drawback on this vehicle is the hesitation/forward movement. When we start, especially when the car has not been driven for a while, the shifting of the initial gear seem to vibrate and it feels that something is amiss. It has been told to me that is the norm for the type of transmission it is, I can live with that but it is the only drawback I have.

Great vehicle!

This vehicle works well for me. It is comfortable and fun to drive. It is a nice size--not too big, and gets good gas mileage. Everyone who rides in it, says it is easy to get in and out of and rides nicely.

dual clutch

I have had many issues with my car due to acceleration problems when i press on the gas. There was a recall when i first got the car, i brought it in and supposedly the issue was fixed but it never was. now since the recall was "checked" if i need that issue which was never services, i need to pay for the inspection. They keep saying that the Hyundai dual-clutch is the reason for my issue and that its "suppose " to do that halt on acceleration, but this car has just had too many issues for being a 2 year old car. I have almost gotten into 2 accidents because the car halted when it needed to accelerate in order to change lanes. I did fear for my life the first time it happened because if the car had accelerated when i pressed the gas, I would have changed lanes smoothly. Instead, I hit the gas, moved into the lane and the car did not go. A large semi was coming behind me, and it had to sway over to the next lane so it wouldn't ram into me. I was so shook after that incident. I am not happy with this car at all, wish I had been wiser 2 years ago when we decided to make this purchase.

My baby Tucson

I can start saying, I love my Tucson. I had it for almost 3 years now and there is not 1 thing I don't love about my car. It's very comfortable and spacious. I love to drive my car because it's very easy to drive and I find it very reliable. I have the piece of mind of knowing that the possibilities of me staying on the middle of the road because of my car's malfunction is very low. To resume I'm very happy with my Tucson.

Love my car. Easy to use, great features. though I feel the navigation program could be much easier. I like the Ford navigation much better. Should self populate towns. Hard to find POI. . As for performance and liok, I’m happy.

This car is easy to drive I have almost 54,000 miles on it and only had a couple minor fixes. It is roomy and came in very handy for my last move. The road noise could be a little less!! I have enjoyed my car very much!!

LOVE this CAR!

A Smart buy & A Beautiful vehicle: quiet yet powerful-- great pick-up when trying to merge into busy highway traffic. The design is exceptional: the outside appearance is sporty & sleek; the dashboard & instrument panel are very user-friendly / easy to read at a quick glance, allowing you to keep your eyes on the road while changing the radio station, answering a call, or adjusting the defrost. The interior offers organization with spots for everything from your water bottle to your sunglasses, cell phone, and loose change. It's the perfect size: you can fit into smaller parking space & maneuver sharp turns. At the same time, it's higher up off the ground--you can ride over snow banks that the plow leaves behind. I also like the window design: it gives me the wider visibility that I need for making easy-to-see lane changes. I love this car!

Regrets

Unfortunately, this car has been a disappointment. I not sure if it is the "eco" feature or what, but this car does not run smooth at all. Our last car was a 2006 Tucson and we loved it, but we didn't make a good decision on this purchase.

Dual clutch sucks

I do not like the dual clutch in our 2017 Tuscon. My car hesitates and many, I mean many times the car won't get up and go and leaves me and my family in harms way when another vehicle is coming. I love everything else about this car but the dual clutch is dangerous and I worry about the safety of my family and others while driving this car. I hope Hyundai does away with the dual clutch or we may be forced to purchase our future cars from another manufacturer. We have owned 5 hyundais, and our parents and my sister and extended family have all bought Hyundai because we have raved so much about this company. The dual clutch system may be a sticking point for our family to go into another direction with future purchases, as it is just not safe at all.

Tucson 2026 Turbo

I do like the suv, however there seems to be excessive hesitation at times. Roomy enough. Very stylish. Would like to have had the auto stopping feature. The texting by voice would be great also. Overall nice vehicle.

2016 Tucson

Transmission overheats going up a hill in traffic. Great car except engine needs better engineering for next models in the future. The features and styling of vehicle is fantastic. I tried to take it up the hill to Big Bear and had to turn back and come home. Unfortunately the engine overheats when climbing a hill at a very slow rate of speed.

Awesome MINI SUV

I enjoy driving my Tucson. Hyundai has come a long way with their vehicles I had a 2012 and last year purchased a 2016 lifted and I’m even more pleased. The added features helped with transporting my son in the backseat. The air vents I didn’t have in the 2012 make a difference. The automatic trunk release when I approach the car when I have my hands full of diapers. Love my Tucson !

Transmission and A/C are BAD

The air conditioning has now needed repair twice. It would quit working at random times. We’ll see how long the latest repair lasts. The transmission hasn’t worked right from the beginning. At first it was just jerking upon starting up. Then it got serious when randomly it would not move after stopping at red lights. After repeatedly telling the dealer this was happening and them telling me there was nothing wrong with it, there was suddenly a recall and a “repair”. (It’s quite apparent many people were having the same problem.) The transmission still has jerky starts and often has big problems finding the right gear. The transmission has 3 “modes” of regular, sport and economy. One of the service personnel told me to keep it in regular mode and I should have less problems but it’s not working.

I love my Tucson!

I just drove cross country from NY to San Diego and I can't say enough about my car. Reliable, comfortable and brave even during heavy rain on route 66 ! I call my Tucson Darth Vader. I will trade for a new one when time comes.

Tucson 2016

We love our Tucson Hyundai purchased from Chapman last April. It is beautiful and offers us so many safety amenities such as the passing lane feature and back-up camera. We also enjoy the navigation feature, although a bit tedious to search specific names of restaurants, etc., without reviewing the whole menu. The car is not only comfortable to ride in but it is a smooth ride with just the right amount of pick-up when needed. We drove a rental car while vacationing in WI this summer, and we were very happy to get back into our Hyundai upon review! The sales agent and service representatives are very courteous and efficient.

The best purchase I've made when I brought my brand new 2016 Hyundai Tucson. I truly recommend this SUV. Good on gas. Nice space. Drives smooth. Look the notifications it gives if something is wrong. Ex. Low air in tires. Try it !

Dual clutch transmission a disappointment

The dual clutch on the 2016 Tucson has performance issues. The dealer has tried to adjust the on-board computer to compensate but it is still a problem on the road. If you do not come to a complete stop the transmission gets confused and is in NO gear when you hit the gas, resulting on you being in traffic and going no where. A very dangerous situation. Hyundai is aware of this and has made no effort to replace the poorly designed transmission. Shame on them. The dealer has communicated my concerns to Hyundai but they are at the mercy of the manufacturer.
