Love my Tucson!

This is by far the best car I have ever owned! The gas mileage is great for an SUV and drives like a dream! The cargo space is more than I expected. It is a very comfortable car. My husband has a bad back and is most comfortable in our Tucson! I think this car is a great value for the money!

Very Good Value

This vehicle is comfortable, fuel efficient and has sufficient power. Its attractive inside and out. The controls are simple and easy to use without having to go thru multiple touchscreen menus like many cars built now. If there is one thing I would recommend is better tires. The inexpensive Hankook Kinergy GT tires don't grip the road well and handling is poor overall.

Good

The transmission is terrible at a complete stop. The car will either not accelerate at a stop or it will leech forward and catch me off guard when I accelerate. It’s actually dangerous in stop and go traffic.

Great SUV for the size

The SUV the size we wanted and fits our needs. The gas mileage is better than promised. The seats are very comfortable. It handles very good at high speeds. This review is not very good. Minimum amount of characters is worthless.

Transmission has Issues

These SUV's are known to have transmission issues. Search the internet before buying. The car's amenities are nice and i love the interior, but the issues with the transmission are dangerous and the car simply isn't safe

Wow never thought it was this nice always put it down was I wrong It the fast friendly service I was impressed with. Speakers blasting. CD player . I bought used but I will buy new next time Some really nice models coming out 2020 check it out.

Not a happy driver

Car has had a very bad hesitation since I got it. Recently had to have the AC serviced. This is the only vehicle I have ever owned that need this type of service 3 years into owning it. Periodically I loose the map, etc on the nav screen. Have to turn off the car, open and shut the door and restart the car. Car is comfortable but wishing I had gotten the Subaru instead

If it ran like it should i tjink it would be the best vehicle i have ever owned

I don't like that 2016 does not have all pf the geaturws i requested and yet i was shown this particular year. Over all again tje best vehicle i have ever owned. I wpuld recommend it to everyone. I love the color.

Transmission Issues

The car is safe and a good deal but the transmission is AWFUL. I have taken it to the dealership to get looked at (apparently there is a recall on it) but it has continued to have the same issues. VERY jerky when accelerating which can be dangerous on highways

Hyundai Tucson 2016

We like the car, many of the features are great, but the car hesitates in slow traffic and at stop lights. Many times after driving for about 10 miles or more and end up in slow traffic car get worse not sure if we can even move forward sometimes. I know other's are having similar issues, when you look up Tucson many others are complaining about the same issue. If Hyundai dosen't address this soon, accidents will happen.

Not the Hyundai quality I’m used to.

I bought my car less than 18 months ago and i have taken it in for service more than ten times. Problems include multiple broken door locks, several broken windows, turn signals that don’t stay on, windshield wipers that don’t respond to being turned on and off, locks that don’t work, etc.

DO NOT BUY A TUCSON WITH THE DOUBLE CLUTCH TRANSMISSION. THIS IS A MISERABLE AUTOMOBILE, THIS MODEL SHOULD BE TAKEN OFF THE ROAD BY FEDERAL GOVERNMENT MANDATE. THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS SITUATION, THE TRANSMISSION WILL STALL OUT AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, AND ALL SORTS OF OTHER MALFUNCTIONS THAT COULD GET YOU KILLED IN CERTAIN TRAFFIC SITUATIONS. AT VERY SLOW SPEEDS, LIKE IN HEAVY TRAFFIC, THE TRANSMISSION IS VERY JERKEY, I THINK THIS DOUBLE CLUTCH TRANSMISSION IS IN ALL TUCSON'S THAT HAVE THE SMALL TURBOCHARGED ENGINE. Great SUV

i absolutely love this car, the features work as intended. Love the Radio and how loud it can get. My only complain is the turbo lag, it takes too long for the car to accelerate after i press down on the accelerator.

Multiple fails

My tail light kept going out (3x). My engine completely failed at 39,000 miles with proper maintenance and when returned fixed wouldn’t start again five days later. For a vehicle bought brand new with only me as the owner it continues to let me down despite appropriate care for the vehicle.

Love, love love my Tucson!

I had owned a hyundai vehicle once before and had a good experience with it and so when I did my research on suvs I wasn't surprised to find that the Hyundai Tucsion was rated so high. First, I like the design the of the Tucson... I've already had several people comment on how sharp the vehicle looks to them. Once you put down the back seats there's a pretty decent amount of space. My son just graduated from college and is moving to St. Louis to start his career so we've been toting things to a storage space using the Tucson so it's handy for moving boxes, I have the turbo charged engine version of the Tucson and it doesn't disappoint. There is a little hesitation when you first accelerate, which they say is due to the dual clutch in the Tucson. It;s like having a manual transmission inside of an automatic transmission. Anyway, once you get past the hesitation it accelerates quickly and is a lot if fun to drive. The cabin is very quiet. I read about this before purchasing but you have to actually ride in it to realize how quiet it is. It's summer right now so I haven't had much of a chance to test out the 4 wheel drive aspect but I will. The blindspot warning is great to have and the rearview camera is awesome,,, heating seats is a great addition!

My tucson

This was the newest car I ever bought it’s been a really good car so far no problems with it,and if I did have anything done to it and had to leave it they gave me a loaner car to drive so yeah it’s a really good ride has plenty of room in it so I will buy another one when this ones paid off

I LOVE my Tucson!

I brought my Tucson used but it drives like it's new. It was an excellent value for the money and I love it's sporty style. The interior is kind of simple but I like that. You're able to work everything through the dash touch screen and you have the option to subscribe to Bluelink to monitor your vehicl's health and remote access such as A/C and heat control and remote start. You can't go wrong by purchasing the Tucson. Some models come with a panaramic roof. I wish I had brought that model. That's the only thing that's missing.
