Not a happy customer.

Small car. good for people under six feet tall. Very poor customer after sale support. Hard to get in and out of. Very little engine back pressure to help slow vehicle down. Roomy for four people once inside.

Nice small SUV

Excellent handling, easy to navigate dash control, simple control, good gas mileage for a 12 gal tank. Just wish more power under the hood. Don’t have the luxury on the interior just lots of plastics. Lots of cargo spaces

tucson good car would buy another one

I am very happy with my car.i've been in for service several times.i've heard your service people tell customers they needed more than they came for,mutiple times.my milelage is extremely low,how these parts need to be replaced so often is by me.

Honestly, I doubt I’ll lease or purchase another HYUNDAI. I believe I could get a much better value from a different car. It also very annoying that you’re asking me to use a minimum of 200 characters!

Tucson

I bought this vehicle as a commuter for the gas mileage, maneuverability and parkability to save wear and tear on my, much more expensive pickup truck which I use to haul my boats with. It definitely fits that bill and is actually fun to drive despite being accustomed to driving our high powered Genesis and my monster truck once you learn the nuances to get the most from this FAR more gas miser vehicle. I have suffered a spinal injury in the past and my neck is held together with plates, screws and fused bones so not all small or midsize vehicles can accommodate my lack of neck flexibility entering and exiting vehicles. This one is fairly easy to do so. My negative takes on the Tucson are the safety issue of when you touch or tap the brake while moving (such as when someone suddenly pulls out in front of you) the clutch has to wind down before fully engaging back under power (it feels like you are falling on your face) and gets hairy if the people coming up on you are not paying attention. The other is, nobody can figure out how to get the maps audible from my smartphone to play over the Bluetooth.

2017 Tuscon

Overall, good vehicle. I am primary driver and use the car for my job of visiting home patients. I am very short. I cannot see the very front of the vehicle, which has cost me in 2 mishaps. I cannot adjust the seat high enough, costing comfort. For a vehicle with the price tag of over $30K, it should have heated steering wheel for those very cold winter days/nights I must go out. Sideview mirrors are not well aligned to see around on driver side. Again, safety.

Recalls

I was very pleased about my 2017 Hyundai purchase until I took it in for service for an oil changed. Amazingly there were 2 recalls on parts of my vehicle. I am concerned the performance of my vehicle will soon be subpar.

Not bad.

I had a Sonata before, and the seats were far more comfortable, and the fabric seemed of better quality, even though it was the bottom of the line Sonata. The Tucson seat seems short, hits me mid thigh, and I am not very tall, and the fabric is cheap feeling. However it drives pretty well, except for occasionally seeming to lose power when pressing the gas pedal, which can be scary.....not sure what that is about.

I Love my Hyundai!

My only comment is that I never even tried it out before buying it. The sales people encouraged me to do so but I looked it over very well but forgot to ask some important questions. I loved it right off though.

I should stuck to my Santa Fe

The overall car is ok. The driving is not smooth like my other two Santa Fe I had. The drive feels like your not putting enough gas into it. I ask service guy they said that’s how they drive like if it’s like a standard. If I wanted the standard feeling I would of bought one. I am not too happy on the drive but the color, sunroof, the location of thebuttons for the heated seats and senors are awesome!

The good and bad about my Tuscon

I like the look, the lights, the dash, the wheels and the paint. I do not like the transmission, the fact that it doesn’t have a compass, and the cardboard rear deck. It also need a rear back up beep. The car has decent pick up and stopping power, the seats are comfortable. It also gets good gas mileage for all wheel drive. Let’s see how long the brakes and Kumho tires last.

Issue with the transmission

I wish the Dealership I purchased the Tucson from would have explained the “semi-automatic “ transmission at the time of purchase. I would never have bought it with this transmission. I was under the impression it was an automatic transmission. The double clutch transmissions feels like a hesitation just when you need to get going.

Hyundai 2017

Hyundai needs to have a vehicle with standard transmission or a vehicle with automatic transmission but not one with both transmissions. The car has a hesitation when giving gas to go from an intersection or traffic light. The hesitation is causing a safety concern for me as I don't need to have an accident.

Honestly, it may be a little to soon to rate the vehicle in certain areas. As a new vehicle it should function as a new vehicle. Sometimes you don't know what you're missing in the vehicle until you don't have it. Overall at this time the car seems to be great.

Hyundai Tucson

I have had several Hyundai's vehicles and I prefer the Sport over the Tucson. The first Tucson I had was very small inside and now this new one seems like a "baluga whale". The first Hyundai was a Sport model and that one fit perfectly. I would go back to that style in a minute.

My car has been checked out and there is nothing wrong with it but it hesitates every time I accelerate

I have had no problems except the acceleration. This is a nice vehicle. I like the interior, outer appearance and the way it drives but I worry about getting killed in the car when I pull out in traffic. The car just sits there

Nice car...very sketchy transmission

Appearnce, fit, and finish of the Tucson is great. Their double clutch automatic transmission is not-so-great. Clunky, sloppy shifts at slow speeds (horrible in stop and go freeway driving) and occasional shift lags at inopportune times, such making a left turn across traffic...actually a potentially dangerous situation. Not an improvement over smooth shifting transmissions i have driven my entire life.

performance dissappointing

There is not a smooth transition through the lower gears. I am told nothing can be done, so I must deal with it. Beside that, I am satisfied with the vehicle overall. It gets good gas mileage and is roomy and comfortable.
