Convenient and dependable

I like my Tucson alot, it is safe to drive, user-friendly car, convenient and a reliable car! It is also economical and has lesser fuel consumption. It would be great to drive a new or latest model in the future.

Good, solid car

We have about 50k miles on our 2017 Tucson Sport. No issues, everything we expected and wanted out of a small SUV. Engine performance is great, plenty of pick up, good gas mileage. Super reliable, solid choice for a small SUV

Best Compact SUV

I purchased my Tuscon new in 2017 and it is my first Hyundai. Mine is the base SE trim and I have been impressed with the audio sound quality and various options that came with the vehicle. Two areas that did not meet expectations were: a lack of rear sensors with the backup camera and engine performance. However, I was aware of these exceptions prior to purchase (during test drive). Aside from those two issues, I have been very satisfied with my Tucson and will buy again.

Dependable

Brakes are great. Great for traveling to beach with dogs. Open windows vibrate. I put on 40,000/miles in two years and discovering items needing service after warranty expires. ( paint, wipers). Looking at trading in for a Subaru which was my previous vehicle.

Overall Satisfaction

I really like my Hyundai Tuscan. At first, I had to adjust to the color of mocha bronze but the more compliments I got, the better I liked it. It has so many 'bells and whistles' that I learn about more features almost every time I drive it. Recently I drove 3 other friends to Florida. They constantly said how comfortable and roomy it was. The drive was smooth with no problems. Although this was not my "end all" car, I am glad for the purchase.

The vehicle is very dependable and has nice lines.and style. I wish that it had a 2.0 engine for more power. to get on to parkways. highways. I did lease this car and the lease will end in Oct.2020.

2017 Hyundai Tucson - like more than dislike.

The Tucson is really cute and a comfortable ride. Love the All Wheel Drive and rear camera. The vehicle itself feels too light. And it sits up so high, it is easy to steal the catalytic converter. I don't think it was a great value, but that is probably due more to my credit score. I will probably not buy another Hyundai, since I prefer a heavier vehicle. But I really don't feel there is anything inherently wrong with the vehicle.

Slow and steady wins the race

The review title probably sums up my experience with the Tucson. Mine has been very reliable and I drive about 140 miles per day in a combination of highway and city driving. I have not had any issues with my vehicle and I now have 65k in just under two years on the car. A bi-monthly oil change and a new set of tires is the only thing the vehicle has needed. Speed is NOT the 2.0's strong suit. You won't race the train and win and you won't race with your neighbor in the hoveround either......both will beat you handedly. This vehicle is for a conscious driver that wants to get there and save gas. You want a fun fast Tucson then step into a 1.6 turbo. Other than the lack of speed and acceleration, I would recommend this vehicle to anyone.

Summary

Car has plenty of power, no give in steering and has touchy brakes. A small car that serves it’s purpose for a younger person... harder for an older person to get in and out of. It sits to low to the ground. Since I leased it within the next year I will be going with something taller, with better steering and braking

First Hyundai purchase

I am overall happy with the Tucson. I bought it in 2017 and improvements have been made since then. Tucson is a little hard to get in and out of and I would probably like something bigger. I will consider the Sante Fe when my lease is up.

This is everything that was advertised!!!

Great car for a Grandpa, Dad, Husband and Musician that has a Day job where this car 'Rolls with me whatever I Do'...I take the grand kids to beach, amusement park, after school activities. I take my wife and her sister to Palm Springs. I carry my own instruments to the gig. I drive it to work everyday.

2017 Tucson sport vehicle.

It’s a very nice vehicle. Just some problems with the transmission not always responding correctly. Just a little frustrating. Comfortable and nice handling. Would recommend this vehicle to anyone If of course they can get the transmission to work corrrctly st all times

I have owned the Tucson for 2 years now and have enjoyed it very much, other than it takes too long to heat the cabin the car is comfortable and easy to drive . Fits 5 people well. Has been very good in the snow, and is rated high in safety the the site informed for life.org

Love it

I truly love my car i do think there can be improvements but for the overall quality and price point its worth it. I have a limited edition 2017 Tuscon Knight. The only major problem i have is with the dual transmission it glitches.

I love the car. I get oil changes regularly. The engine light came in but they said gas cap may not have been on tight. I have had the car 2 1/2 years. Just got a new battery. I haven't had any other issues with it.

Good car but the car does not want to accelerate after a complete stop

This is overall a good vehicle but the car does not want to accelerate after you hit a full stop. i find this very dangerous. sometimes it also takes timw to gain speed. prior to this car, i had a sonata hybrid and it had the same issue. i thought because it was a hybrid thay was happening but i have the same issue with the 2017 tucson. other people seem to have this same issue
