Like it, but my Sonata was better.

I now have a Tucson after driving two difference Sonata models over the previous five years. Both Sonata models were so reliable that the only time I ever took either in for service was for routine maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, etc. The Tucson had issues with jerky acceleration and slow pick up from idling from the very beginning. The problem only continued to get worse over the first year-and-a-half of ownership and, ultimately, they had to replace the dual clutch transmission. The dealer and service department were amazing, and I was barely inconvenienced because of their great customer service, but I find it alarming that such a new car that has been well-maintained would need a replacement transmission. Overall, I've simply been underwhelmed by the Tucson and will look for a different car once the lease is up.

Gas mileage less than advertised, around town avg. 21 to 22 mpg On road trip up to 28 mpg. Some turbo lag at times when starting but once warm a better response. Over all we really like the interior room and overall styling Tuson

Great value and reliability for the money.

As a first time hyundai owner , i was impressed by the warranty and number of models on the road, I wanted a smaller suv, had a Isuzu rodeo prior, and prefer foreign vehicles with a longer warranty and track record.. I have been very happy so far, taking 4 hour trips, to short commutes., nice amount of cargo room, easy to fold seat down, good visibility.Fun to drive too, nice handling for city traffic too.Hopefully will be reliable and longterm vehicle, and cost efficient .. time will tell.

It's a good car but too big for me; my next car will be a sedan; items move around an d make noise in the cargo area; they should be secured; I like the use of a trunk with objects secured; also difficult to see curbs. dashboard too high to permit use of my entry card into Carillon. difficult to get oral directions through the phone or car radio when using the Blue Tooth.

Our 2017 Hyundai Tucson

We are very pleased with our Tucson. Two things stand out that really need re-engineering: 1. The front seatbelt retentioners. They don’t fully retract when the seatbelts are unbuckled. This causes the door to be shut on the buckle and the inner door liner. Ours is ripped. 2. The spotty performance of the factory installed AM/FM/XFM/CD player, when in the XFM mode, the signal doesn’t come through even in open spaces. This problem has been reported to the dealership and was told that there was no other recourse.

Happy enough --

We like our Tucson most of the time, alittle noisy inside cabin when on highway. Great speed, and handling. The hardest thing to get used to is the clutch system and how it works in traffic or if moving slowly on a hill.

The class of car is well equipped and economically priced. It has comfortable front and back seats, accommodating five adults with seatbelts. This vehicle has adequate added features and rides smoother than most SUV's. Our family and friends have favorably commented on the appearance, ease of handling and comfort.

Tucson

Hyundai Tucson is an amazing vehicle to drive. Being in the military we move a lot around the globe. It would be great to have the services that Automax has globally available to military personnel. That way we could keep up with services needed for our cars and would feel good about everything overall. Updates that should have been already in the car would be GPS/ Waze or something like it, automatic car starter to be able to warm up the car or for summer to cool the car down enough before entering. A start up button since this is a 2017 model it should have ad those features already. Darker upholstery. Light grey was not the great choice every little stain is visible and it is hard to come out. When you have careless people ride with you and you und the surprises later. It would be helpful to have darker upholstery.

This model is larger in size than previous ones. I was surprised when I did a test drive, and almost didn't buy my first choice, but in the end I went with the Tucson. It's been a good car for me and my needs.

Wish there was little more legroom in front and backseats, but the car is very comfortable and we love it. The acceleration is a little lacking and the factory tires are horrible, but overall satisfaction with performance is very high.

A find the I-4 1.6T a little underperforming while idling and take off in first gear, it even stalls sometimes, the A/C only works on 3 and 4 speeds. Too bad it happened just after the 60,000 miles, but other that that.... greatest car ever better!!!

Nice vehicle

The 2.0 engine is a dog, terrible at acceleration. Way to small of an engine. Other than that I like the Tucson, wish there was an option for a power passenger seat. Very stylish and comfortable inside.

Hyundai Tucson 2017

The car is practical with some added features (larger navigation screen, heated seats, sound system). You can pay extra for MyHyundai app control & monthly diagnostic reports (yearly fee). Hassle free maintenance is a plus but you should make your appointment at least 2 weeks out for weekdays or 4 weeks out for weekends. Service center always emails coupon offers in the beginning of the month. Car could have a larger gas tank (range with optimum mileage is only 350 miles).

Tuscon Sport

After test driving multiple vehicles I chose the Tuscon Sport mostly for the safety features and gas economy. The style is like other vehicles on the market I just have to remember where parked! Over all I'm very pleased with my choice.

Decent car

Very dependable and reliable. Good in all driving weather conditions. Brake pad and tire wear exceeded my expectations. Cloth interior shows everything and does not clean easily. Oil consumption is awful.

Love it

I love my Tuscan. The only 2 things I have an issue with is the it takes a long time for the heat to get warm and it does a little hesitation at the stoplight sometimes. I took it to the dealer, but they say nothing is wrong with it.

It's a very nice car for the money but it has very limited space in the trunk. The Bluetooth will pair to your phone and very easily seating for four adults. The Tucson has a good feel on long drive..
