2017 Hyundai Tucson

I dislike the front fascia and so far, after 70K miles the only thing that went bad is the air conditioning compressor. It is a costly repair, over $1000 and the I-4 1.6 turbocharged engine underperforms at take off after been in idle.

Nice ride.

Nice SUV. Don't care for the touch screen stereo. Slow loading at start up. Transmission doesn't seem to shift right. I would recommend this vehicle to my friends and family. Reliable vehicle and Sharp looking

Great car

This is my third Hyundai, I find the make very reliable, the first one was an Elantra pre-owned with low mileage, the second one was the Santa Fe, also pre-owned with low mileage, so I am happy with the make, wish they made a truck.

Retirement vehicle for my wife

Fits her every needs. Enjoys the extra cargo space that can carry large items that normally will not fit in a sedan. If only the engine had a little more acceleration so as not to compromise safely blending into traffic. Truth be known, many people drive to fast and not patient on slower acceleration from stop lights. usually pass (which is ok), but then sharply cut in front of you or risk an accident. I suggest the larger engine.

Lots of power - iffy transmission

Lots of power in my model - pickup is quite amazing. The transmission (which is a split-clutch) works great - except, sometimes (when stopped), it hesitates as it 'looks for a gear'. This must be a SW issue and could be fixed. Great mileage as well - even when driven hard and fats (averages 27 mph around town).

I love my Tucson but

I wished I had not been in such a hurry to get another vehicle. If I had known I was going to get fired 4 months later and then cashed out my pension, I could have paid in cash for a brand new, fully loaded Santa Fe!

My Tucson review

I was leasing a 2015 (I think?) Tucson. It went past miles and the breaks wore out. The dealer pressures me to lease a new car. I wanted to buy the Tucson I had and told me “I did not want to do that” I was in a vulnerable position and leased past what I wanted to pay and I lost the car I loved. I very much enjoy the new Tucson but the Tucson I had prior I regret SO MUCH not buying. I continue to be stuck in a lease and wish I just bought the old Tucson. My next plan is to buy the old Tucson I had private because I did not like the pressure of the salesman and will again find a way for me to decide something I don’t want. When I had an engine problem with my current Tucson, Hyundai went above and beyond with help and am forever great full. It was a seized engine and I was afraid I would owe thousands of dollars. Thankfully Hyundai has a great warranty and even paid for my loaner car.

Love it

I love the look and the comfort and the performance. It really kills my that I have to write a minimum of 200 characters when I have said all I need to say regarding my vehicle. This is my third time typing something because I don't have enough characters, really!?

Car is daily driver for around town only

It has been a very good car for the use i bought it for and the value was good for the price i paid. Have had no problem with the car and it only has 17,071 miles on it not bad for 3 years. I like the over all ride and would buy it again if i were in the marketY

2017 Hyundai Tuscon

I love the styling, and handling of the Tuscon. There are minimal repairs needed with these vehicles other than regular, general maintenance. They hold up well over time. Fuel economy is not great and cannot compare to other vehicles on the market such as the Subaru. This is my second Tuscon but will likely seek better fuel economy with my next purchase.

Should have looked for a bigger car

I like the car and it has great gas mileage but I have two very large dogs and it is a chore to take them for hikes. The car was too small for them but I feel stuck because Hyundai's do not keep their value very well so I would lose thousands to get another vehicle. The car is beautiful and rides beautiful.

My Personal Viewpoint

I like my Tucson very much, except for one area: it's acceleration is only fair and could use some attention from Hyundai on future models. I especially notice this from a dead stop or when trying to navigate through daily city traffic or along Arizona's highways.

I am overall pleased with Hyundai. We are a Hyundai family. Mother has a Hyundai Elantra 2008, daughter a Hyundai Elantra hatchback 2013 and I enjoy my Tucson. When lease ends I will go for same car. Excellent agent Daniel Moyal.

ENJOYABLE

I enjoyed spacing in drivers seat very much. It made for easier getting in and out and driving position. When I had to drive in snow the car held the road very well. Thank goodness I have not had any performance issues with this car. The model I have does not have an improved phone calling system nor the blue link. That was the one thing I missed the most from my previous car.

I love my car!!!

I have a 2017 Hyundai Tuscan night edition. I love the way my car drives. I love my sunroof, the way the music sounds and the backup camera! The trunk opening when the key comes near it comes in handy when grocery shopping. I only wished it could also have 4 wheel drive. But overall this car is amazing!

I Love my Tucson. The only thing I hate is where the gas cap release is on the floor. I’m short and it’s hard for me to reach. It drives very well. A little hesitation when starting out after stopped. But overall it’s a Great car for me.

Very good for the price

Overall good performance. Interior has space. Like the lay down back seats. I am the only driver, bought bigger vehicle so I could carry my grandchildren. The only thing, the back seat is not enough room for 1 person and 2 car seats.
