First Hyundai purchase

I am overall happy with the Tucson. I bought it in 2017 and improvements have been made since then. Tucson is a little hard to get in and out of and I would probably like something bigger. I will consider the Sante Fe when my lease is up.

Summary

Car has plenty of power, no give in steering and has touchy brakes. A small car that serves it’s purpose for a younger person... harder for an older person to get in and out of. It sits to low to the ground. Since I leased it within the next year I will be going with something taller, with better steering and braking

My Tucson Hyundai

This is my second Hyundai vehicle the first a 2006 sonota that our granddaughter drives has always been a reliable vehicle so there was no question about what our new vehicle would be and we have been very happy with our Tucson.

I have owned this vehicle for just over three years. I have never had any issues that would change my mind about it, in fact now my wife also owns a Hyundai. I would recommend this vehicle and the location to anyone.

Slow and steady wins the race

The review title probably sums up my experience with the Tucson. Mine has been very reliable and I drive about 140 miles per day in a combination of highway and city driving. I have not had any issues with my vehicle and I now have 65k in just under two years on the car. A bi-monthly oil change and a new set of tires is the only thing the vehicle has needed. Speed is NOT the 2.0's strong suit. You won't race the train and win and you won't race with your neighbor in the hoveround either......both will beat you handedly. This vehicle is for a conscious driver that wants to get there and save gas. You want a fun fast Tucson then step into a 1.6 turbo. Other than the lack of speed and acceleration, I would recommend this vehicle to anyone.

2018 Tucson

Very pleased with Hyundai as a whole , Started as a lease but was so pleased decided to keep it , This was my 1st lease and only out of necessity. Hyundai has definitely stepped it up and is a very competitive vehicle for both price and quality.

Everything else but the Eco Engine is great

Eco motor has almost caused me to get in an accident/rear ended several times. I cannot rely on the engine to go if in a situation where I need to move out of the way. For this reason, I will not be buying this car when my lease is up. It is unsafe.

Don’t buy if your cold

Heater is not efficient, it takes too long to warm. Service said that “it meets factory standards” but all other vehicle I have owned or currently own provide heat significantly faster than this Hyundai.

No go in snow!!

The front wheel drive Tucson is horrible in snow. Had I know that prior to leasing my car. I would have gotten the all wheel drive instead. My lease is up in June, I'll be back for another Tucson but with all wheel drive

One of the best vehicles I have ever owned. It is comfortable, stylish, and fuel efficient. With the turbo it has all the power I need when required. We have taken it on a number of trips and it has ample room for luggage, golf clubs, etc. two thumbs up!

Great car, safety features, and over all economy

Great car; I am very satisfied in every way. Just a warning; do not go to Phil Long dealerships. Management treats customers horribly; lie and cheat. Use Arapahoe Hyundai in Littleton or Spradley Huyndai in Pueblo for this great car.

Small interior

The interior is too small and there is no compartments except the glove box and a small one between the front seats. More storage and bigger interior would be great. I might recommend if those things were changed

Don’t do it

Transmission is messed up and unless I have a “paper trail” and constantly harass the dealership, nothing will be done. This is what I was actually told. I will now be wasting my time over and over. In addition; the car is not a smooth drive. I have brand new tires and every bump in the road in felt.

2017 Hyundai Tuscon review - wife's car

Our 2017 Tuscon is our fourth Tuscon, and eighth Hyundai vehicle. Interestingly, we have never had any serious problems with any of these cars/SUV's. This 2017 is the best one yet and is fully loaded with power/heated leather seats for both driver and passenger and helpful safety options like blind spot warning in both mirrors and cross traffic alert. This car rides great and gets 30+ miles per gallon on the interstate at 80 miles per hour. I fully intend to get another similar Tuscon next year when the current lease is complete on this one!

Great vehicle Great Dealership

ai have had cars since I was 16 years old (I am 72 now). I have owned everything from a Corvair (first car) to Chevy Impalas, Camaro, Chevelle SS, Corvette, Buick Park Ave, BMWs, Subaru (4), VW Passat, Dodge, Toyota (2) and others. I have purchased from many dealers in the area. I just want to make it known I have NEVER experienced a better dealership nor been treated better than I have at Northtown. They are first class in both sales and service. And I love my vehicle and look forward to purchasing another one from Northtown in the future. The Hyundai has met and exceeded my expectations and truthfully is one of the best vehicles I ave ever owned.

Great car

I am tall and have long legs,the vehicle is comfortable to drive and also for my passengers,Even after a 17 hour drive to Oregon it drives great in all weather....room for suitcases behind back seat and all kinds of storage. I am sorry I did not get the easy open hatch for rear door because it is heavy for me. Has lots of power,I never cannot punch it or pass when I need to....I would prefer leather seats and I am sorry I didn’t get them but I have weather tech floor covering all the way and the cup holder which I love!...
