Love my car!!!

I love my car, I have had it for a little bit over a year. Haven't had any problems with it at all! Love the way it drives. I plan on keeping my car for a good while. Wouldn't mind upgrading it one day to.

Hyundai Tucson 2017

I love this car! I actually prefer the styling with the stainless steel grill design to the newer version with black. I chose the standard engine with the upgraded interior (more comfortable black leather seats, navigation system, better audio) over the sport engine model and am glad that I did. I got a good deal on price compared to the newer models, and the car looks a lot more expensive than what I paid for it. I love the safety features (blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert). The newer models offer a few more safety features for drowsy or distracted drivers, but I don't use the phone while driving or take long trips where those features might come in handy. This is not a performance vehicle, but you don't need one to drive around town. It is more important to me to have a quiet and comfortable cabin. The Tucson is nearly as comfortable as my previous vehicle, a Toyota Sienna, and a little more maneuverable plus a lot better on gas mileage.

Really Want To Love This Vehicle, But...

If it weren't for the dual clutch transmission, this would be a great car. The size is perfect, the engine has a lot of pep, the all wheel drive helps in the snow on these Pittsburgh streets, oh and it looks awesome too. But this transmission... I have to wonder what I'll be able to get for this thing when it's time to replace it. And all Hyundai says is that there's nothing wrong with it, that's just the nature of the dual clutch beast. Well, that in itself is something wrong. Glad to know they did away with the dual clutch, tho.

I LOVED my previous Santa Fe (248,000 miles worth), but my My 2017 Tucson has been a design disappointment if not disaster--NOT designed for anyone 5'4".

Unfortunately I didn't realize how UN-userfriendly it was until I really drove it a lot after purchase. Fortunately I've found the handling/drivability and fuel economy wonderful. Again, not designed for shorter people--not being able to see the road/pavement adjacent to the car is a safety hazard, and I don't appreciate having to duck my head every time i get in and out of it when the seat is positioned optimally for me. My after-purchase review is pages long, so will not elaborate further here!

Review on Vehicle

I have had problems since I bought this car. I bought it brand new and the problems should NOT be happening. My car stutters or jerks suddenly when accelerating or when coming to a slow stop. I also have problems with the sound system. My sound completely stops working but this happens randomly. I have told the dealership I bought the car at these problems many times but they haven't been able to fix it. On the plus side, I really enjoy my moonroof and the look of the car. It also has a nice interior and safety features that I prize.

I love my Tucson, it’s the second Hyundai I’ve had & because of my experience with my first 1, it’s 1 of the main reasons I got this 1. It’s comfy & all the new safety features are very helpful & it gets good gas mileage.

I love the ease of driving my Hyundai. It is very dependable. Easy to park. The seats are comfortable. It seems larger inside than it actually is. Its not cramped. Great stero sound. Air conditioning is very cold. I so made the right choice going to Csmelback Hyundai and picking out my Hyundai Tucson.

Excellent care and relationship with my dealer. Will definitely return to salesman Aron. Car is great A little too big for me but it was what i could afford. Whole staff at dealership is exceptional. I left feeling great about my purchase and still do.

Lov'in my Tucson

Love my Tucson. It is a quality vehicle and a real pleasure to own and drive. Comfortable seating and plenty of get up and go. I can't think of anything that is wrong with it. The dealer is top notch as well as the vehicle. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another Hyundai from Branfon Hyundai.

tucson is a solid city car

This is more comfortable for ease of entry/exit than most sedans. great steering (spectacular turning radius) and wonderful steering wheel. I would buy this again -- but would pay fo more luxury features

2017 Hyundai Tucson

I have been very pleased with my Hyundai Tucson for the most part. It handles well both in town and on the open highways. The gas mileage is pretty good too. I usually get 29 or 30 mi/gal on freeways and 24 to 25 in town. I purchased a blue Tucson which really stands out, especially in a parking lot when i am looking for my car. I like the style of both the interior and exterior. My biggest complaint is poor floor heating in the winter. The heat in the upper cabin is fine but my feet never get warmed up. Though driving performance is pretty good, I find the acceleration from a stopped position to be somewhat sluggish.But all in all, I am very pleased with my Tucson.

1.8 years after new purchase

All good except, the auto trano mission hestates at slow speeds. Rear left Brake light warning comes on and off. Dealer opened and tightened the bulbs. But the problem remains. Toyota Motor company had a recall for similar issue. Mike Engineer. 832 692 9258.

Nice Looking But......

My 2017 Tucson is a very nice looking vehicle, however in terms of performance it’s truly horrible. The dual clutch transmission jerks and sometimes there is power when accelerating and sometimes there isn’t. Hyundai made a huge mistake by omitting a torque converter. Even with a turbo engine there isn’t enough power for the car to get out of its own way.

Not impressed

I wish I had purchased the Santa Fe instead... the Tucson is hard to get in and out of without constantly needing to lower then raise the driver's seat. I do like the back-up camera, although the Blue Link thing is looking like a waste of money, especially if you carry a cell phone.
