Fun Little SUV

This is my 1st SUV. I love the overall design because it's somewhat sleek and sexy. I love that I am high enough off the ground and that it feels sturdy and solid. It is fun to drive it in Sport mode!

overall we are very happy with this vehicle only minor complaints and wishes. Performs well and has been reliable and safe so far. It gets great fuel milage and we are amazed at how well it performs on the road and in traffic.

Tucson

I had a 2016 Hyundai that had better amenities than my 2019 Hyundai, but I paid a little more for the 2019, which I feel, after having it just over a year, that the 2019 was a bit overpriced. I do still enjoy my 2019 at this time.

Wonderful vehicle. The only issue i have had with it is the trunk not locking and somehow we get the battery display an error. Other than that good experience. Service was not as expected though. They didnt check the liquid levels in engine and in the hood area.

Decent Ride for the Price

I love Hyundai and have been driving them exclusively for the last 7 years. Of the 4 Hyundais I've owned this is my second least favorite... but still not bad by a long shot. The positives: it's got that trademark Hyundai smooth ride. The built in features are nice, the car handles well in bad weather, and the price is great for what you get. Negatives: the engine's default setting lacks oomph. Every time I get in the car I have to put it on sport mode to have any level of reasonable acceleration. I'm not expecting muscle car performance by any means, but its default acceleration setting is way too low. Recommend making "sport" mode its default setting and make the slower "eco" setting an option. Also, the gas tank is a tad small. The manual says it has a 16 gallon tank, but from near empty (15 miles before E) I can never put more than 13 gallons in! Other than that it's a decent car. It wouldn't have been my first choice, but was my only choice by necessity. I prefer cars over SUV's

My Second Tuscan!

This is my second Tuscon. I am in sales, so, I am on the road every day. I love my Tuscan! I only have one comment. I think there should be an electric driver seat on the base model. It doesn't pay for me to buy a fancy car, as I go to cities and parking garages where I can't worry that someone is going to ruin my car.

Great Overall Car!

Great car overall! I don't like the manual climate controls, wish they were digital! Very quiet with the windows up, great sound proofing! Advanced safety features work amazingly well! The handling and smoothness of the ride is very impressive thanks to its gas filled shocks! The vantage point of being higher up off the road is so nice, I'd never want to go back to a small, low to the ground compact car!

Have driven 1.6 million miles, over 30 cars. Hyundai has best overall cost per mile. Hyundai does not always enginner to the larger american body size.

Tuscon many safety features are nothing more than distractions but I am a very seasoned driver of many miles that most actions driving are automatic reflexes. My urologist would have a canary if I drank all the coffee you recommend. I need a switch to turn off auto opener of rear deck. I have three 1/2 inch scratches in the paint from having it open automatically in the garage. ****** I am sweating my butt off in 90 degree weather when I look down and see that I accidently bumped the seat heater switch OMG I could nt get to the fuse fast enough. Happened about 5 times.

I would rate all aspects of this vehicle an 8 out of 10 rating. Many aspects, acceleration, handling, ride, audio system, design, are all above average. Considering the options on thiis Sport model, I think it is a good value for the money.

My Tucson

The Tucson is a fun vehicle to run around town in, it handy to be as nimble as it is when negotiating parking lots, drive like a car. We picked the Brown Sage color and have the high end rims that help give it a classy look, it looks as good as much more expensive vehicles without the price. One of the best features is the air cooled seats in the summer. The Tucson had high safety ratings and good warranty periods, better than the big boys.

Great mid level SUV

Hyundai has come a long way from ugly throw away vehicles to some very appealing, reliable vehicles. Stylish little SUV. Not terrible at anything, does everything pretty well. Just lacking in power, but my last 4 vehicles have all been 12-13 vehicles. Probably wouldn't mind so much if the fuel economy was a few mpg better. Overall, satisfied with no regrets on purchasing and would do again.

Problems with rear view camera and auto metic trunk opening

I do love the car, it runs very nicely. My only issue is mostly on the dealerships part. My rear view camera is not aligned correct, so it needs to be realigned. And my automatic trunk opening doesn't work/was never set up.

GAS MILEAGE

I previously owned a silver 2002 Chevy Tracker, 5 speed. But alas, last year it did not pass inspection and would have been to costly to repair. So my daughter drives a Hyundai Tucson so test drove one. I bought the car and it slowly won me over. Now I like everything about it from the wheels to the interior and the wonderful dashboard. It's loaded with all kinds of good things. It's a nice ride. I wish it had better gas mileage but I wanted this size SUV so I deal with it. Over all I would definitely recommend the Hyundai Tucson.

Happy overall with the vehicle. Not satisfied with the panoramic sunroof. Had replaced once and still having issues. The noise is loud and startling. Had to dealership multiple times and still not fixed

Good and luxurious

As with any vehicles there are pros and cons. I would have spent a little more money for some upgrades that I didn't realize were really a necessity. This survey is really become a pain in my butt. I won't take another one. It takes up too much of my time.

So far so good!

We chose the Tucson over the competition because we were able to get more for our money. We were able to purchase the Limited Trim for several thousand dollars less than it would have cost us to get the same features in the Toyota Rav4. One of the key features we wanted was electric controls for the front passenger seat. The Tucson was the only one we found that had it. We also wanted rear A/C vents and it has those too. We did not want a sun/moon roof. With the Rav4 it is standard equipment for all models except the base if I am not mistaken.
