Dash Problems

We’ve had nothing but problems with this vehicle. It’s the third new Hyundai we’ve purchased. As soon as we bought it, the dash started having problems. Sometimes the right side would go blank and sometimes the left side would. Then the heads up display started disappearing. Then it permanently went dim. The dealer had it for six months before FINALLY getting it fixed. Definitely will be the last Hyundai I ever purchase.

little better than average

At 76, there are alot of bells and whistles that can't be shut off and can be very distracting. I drive the highway for 6 miles and the heater never kicks in. The car drives fine, gas milage is good and plenty of room.

Striving to be technologically advanced, but usage problems exist

A number of cool features - but need to login to unlock them, and the fingerprint sensor login is useless - never registers properly. Okay, so use password - that takes more time to enter. Infotainment features are complex, and the interaction between Autoplay and the built-in features is murky. How to access the various media options is a multi-step process. Voice recognition is not universal in all modes, so you have to dial in the right mode before issuing a command.

A bit worried

The dealer stated i will need tires on my next service, my Tucson only had 12,000 miles on it. They said Hyundai puts the cheapest tires on their autos , at 17,000 miles i have to replace them, it makes me wonder what else they put cheap on it that I'm going to need to replace?
