I liked it till I found out how much they cost to fix and the closest place is 50 miles away

Didn’t know they have a lot of issues until I had already bought it. Now I don’t trust it so I might as well sell it. 7500; 2008 minicooper s. It only has 48000 miles on it and the first thing that tears up is the timing chain. That was a 2000 cost I could t afford right after I bought the thing

Terrible reliability

Avoid the N14 engine cooper S at all costs. While fun to drive, the cost of ownership is outrageous. Since buying this car I've spent over $9,000 in repairs over the 5 years of ownership. This truly is a love/hate relationship.
