Not perfect but a great little car.
I bought a used mini that was in rougher shape than I’d been led to believe. The advanced computer system makes diy repair less achievable than one might think. So while repairs have been expensive (in the first year I’ve put about 5k into a car I paid 3k for) it’s a great little car.
Almost (but not quite) as fun to drive as my 1999 Miata I love the six speed transmission, the great gas mileage, and the overall handling (front wheel drive pull notwithstanding)
This is my first mini so the layout of a lot of controls was unfamiliar.
Obviously the size of the car limits who it’s suitable for, but for the right use case it’s hard to beat.
