Used to be a great place
This used to be a great place, honest and dependable, but not any more. My last visit to the service department was the most unprofessional and uncaring experience and I will not return.

How long for an oil change?
I was very dissapointed at my last visit, which will be my last visit. Why do I wait 70 minutes for an oil change on a weekday afternoon. Someone needs to work on scheduling assignments and priorities.

Not put together correct after a fix.
Had my steering wheel collar replaced. Mechanic failed to plug back (don't know why it was unplugged) my dimming and ECO buttons (display). Had to fight traffic and drive back to Denton the next day to get it fixed.

 I do understand your disappointment sir, i can assure it was not done intentionally. All of the things mentioned plug into one connector and it must have been left unsecured. Let me know when you come in on your next visit, i will give you a free oil change. I do apologize and Mr Chavez will be reprimanded.

I have pulled your invoice sir and yes i would agree a oil change taking 2 hours would be long. You also requested us to rotate your tires and balance then as well and to perform a multipoint on your vehicle. These additional services take more time sir.

Go an email about a recall, set up an appointment for said recall yet the service team was unaware of why we were there even though we expressed it clearly in the comments. On top of that they did not have the parts necessary to fix the recall issue and told us they would call back once they did and at that point we could set up an appointment. They called after they promised they would, but were able to fix what they needed to.

Ms. Leach,

  I apologize that you feel this way, unfortunately, all tire sensors have batteries in them and will eventually need replacing. It is rare when they fail all at the same time and I know it is not your fault.
We did receive a defective part from the manufacture and that is well was not your fault.
That is why we put you in a free loaner car to go on your trip out of town, why we tried to make sure the vehicle was responding correctly.

My car was brought in for an oil change and tire rotation. The oil was taken care of, but if the tires were rotated, the job was done poorly. Two days after my appointment, I get a warning light that I have low tire pressure. I stop to check the pressure and all four tires are significantly below pressure. How does a dealership rotate tires and not check the pressure?

 I apologize that your tire light came on. if possible I would like for you to bring the vehicle by at your convenience.  we set tire pressure on every car serviced. ( it is possible we may have missed one) The tire light, if pressures are irregular, will turn on immediately as it thinks you have a flat or low tire. I would like to check and make sure one is not leaking. if there is a 4-pound difference the light will come on.
Please call or have someone locally make sure there are no leaks

Took too long to get an oil change
Wasted too much time when I had other things to do. Went in for an oil change then the guy said he needed to rotate my tires. I had my appointment scheduled for 9am and didn't leave until 11am.

Issue was not addressed
I have been experiencing a 'known problem' for 2013 Elantras-- sputtering and stalling while idling. Restarting after a very short inactive period is also difficult. This issue has not been fixed.

I apoligize you have been experiencing a concern with you vehicle, i can assure you we dont want you to have any issues as well. 

If this has been an ongoing concern, if you would please call and lets schedule you an appointment, with a loaner car.

Unfortunately with your engine light not being on it is much harder to diagnosis the concern, so it will take at least a full day.

The people at Eckert service were really great. Replaced the hub and bearings and everything under warranty. The Hyundai warranty is amazing. I wish they had better tires to purchase but I had to go with the "factory" ones. Only good 30k and they don't offer an insurance like Discount & NTB. Still, got me back on the road and we're very nice. Also didn't have a loaner car available but that's understandable b/c I didn't have an appointment and there was no way they could have foreseen me coming.

Ugh - have to take it back.. again
The dealership service department just replaced the front right wheel bearings. A week later NTB is saying that the whole hub assembly needs to be replaced and whatever the dealership did basically broke it. Nice. And the other Hyundai dealership on 820 is booked past New Years so I have to go back to Denton.

 Please bring your vehicle back, i don't know what concerns you had, however if your experiencing an issue with your vehicle and we just worked on it , please bring it in so it can be corrected. The hub is a fixed piece of metal, i will be more than happy to show you what happened and if we (my technicians damaged something) i will fix it.

Overbooked service turns into long waiting times
Eckert Hyundai service is being really good so far and personal is very friendly.
Anyhow in my last service I was waiting one and a half hour for a simple oil change and tires rotation.
Feedback to the service manager: Don’t overbook more than what your personnel can handle.

Mgr.would not return my call.
I had trouble with rebate on financing. H ad radio repaired onc. E still not working right. Have had the a/c worked on twice and latest the transmission replaced. Never had this much trouble with a new car.
