Extremely disappointed in the way you guys behaved. I have taken my car back to you guys before because of issue with the car. This was done just after I bought the car.

I was told all was good...I wrote to you saying all was not well; and now when I brought it in again you telling me I have to pay $700 to fix. You allowed me to drive out of your lot with a car you claim was "certified".

We purchased our 2015 Genesis in October 2014 and missed our first 3 month maintenance appointment because we were out of town. So, scheduled our first maintenance appointment for late in May . We asked for a loaner car (as was our procedure as former Lexus (GS 350) owners. I was told they didn't provide loaners and after I expressed my disappointment and the expectation that the quality of service would be comparable to the quality car - Genesis - I got transferred to manager (i think?) who told me they only had a "rental" program and after some discussion was told they could arrange for a rental which would not be a Genesis and they also told me, begrudgingly, they would have to "charge" it to the Sales Dept. I said that would be fine (didn't know if they thought I'd say no or what?). They called me toward the end of the day of service and asked if they could keep car another day - there was a "campaign"/recall on tires and they were waiting on floor mat - we had discovered original floor mat never attached properly (either mat was wrong or connector needed to be moved). When we discovered it about two weeks into owning the care, we were told it would be addressed when we had our first service appointment which we agreed to. Went to pick up car after the 2nd day to discover we had to make new appointment because floor mat and tires not in/available - so in the 48 hrs they had the car, they managed to do an oil change. They called within a week or two to set up the next appointment (for new tires and floor mat). We were originally told we're getting Michelin tires and ended up with Continental - not a big issue I hope but not what we were told. We did get a new floor mat - but it's exactly the same problem - doesn't line up to the floor attachment - incorrect placement of connector or, again, incorrect floor mat. Frustrating and not the kind of service we are accustom to as former Lexus owners. I hope these first two appointments are not indicative of future service with Atlantic Hyundai. We do own a VeraCruz for almost five years now and have it serviced in FL and are extremely happy with the service there. We would be happy to discuss our experience and would welcome a phone call to resolve the floor mat issue and to do future business with Atlantic Hyundai. thank you.

Went into service for an oil change. Came out with a damaged vehicle. They take pictures when the car comes in - which is great
Because the damage wasn't there when they recived the car. Nobody informed me they damaged it though. They proceeded to fix it, but created one issue after another and I ended up going back 4-5 times

Customer Care was a nightmare never buying a Hyundai again
A real nightmare with Hyundai in West Islip ... I was going to buy another Hyundai after my lease was up but ... after that horrible nightmare treatment and taking advantage of my 80 year old husband with early dementia I will NOT buy another Hyundai and will make sure never ever recommend this car to anyone.

Because my Daughter waited 9000 for an oil change she was told she needed an Oil Control Valve... for $600. Terrible will never buy another Hyundai.. owned many cars never heard this before...

They boost the price and try to rip you off
Ok service but poor price quotes! Every service person tries to rip you off for the work that needs to be done!! John Russo wants to charge me $800 for a tune up and my car is a 2011 Tucson. That's ridiculous!!!!

Can not accomodate all of its appointments!
Atlantic Hyundai should focus on limiting the amount of appointments it accepts for the day in order to provide a higher level of customer service. There is simply no excuse why a routine oil change requires 7 and a half hours (from the time I checked in until I left with my vehicle). Staff should also be thoroughly screened for professional behavior. The checkout clerk was using very profane language in front of customers and children and other service representatives refused to help me as I waited for over a half an hour at my missing service representative's empty desk. Kindly, one service representative finally assisted me after he could not find the one assigned to my vehicle and provided me with a discount for the horrendous service. His professionalism and generosity is the ONLY reason I may consider returning to Atlantic Hyundai for future maintenance and the purchase of a new vehicle.

Worst experience ever
The customer service is extremely lacking at Atlantic Hyundai. They need to be properly trained INCLUDING the general manager, Dan Toomey. As a loyal Huyndai customer & driver for over 27 years, I have never been treated so poorly by any dealership.I called the corporate office twice as I was left without a car from Thurs night through Tuesday afternoon with no communication from the dealership. (It was a holiday weekend and I was left with no transportation) When I called to inquire about picking my car up Friday PM, John Grosso from Service told me he could not find the problem & I had to leave the car, would be called on Sat., & I could pick it up on Sun. from showroom. No one called me Saturday & no one in showroom could get my car for me on Sunday, nor would they give me a loaner. When asked if I could speak to a manager, they would only take a message. I had to call back 2 hrs later and still no one would help me. On Tuesday AM John Grosso from service called to tell me my car was ready. He didn't even apologize for his lack of communication. When asked if I could be compensated for the inconvenience, he told me to speak to Mr. Toomey. Mr. Toomey did not return my call. I called him a 2nd time. He also did not apologize- said he would speak to his personnel & deliver the car to my office. When I asked if there was more he could do, he curtly said no & refused to engage in conversation. He then became rude when I said I was surprised & told me he would not deliver the car. I had to pick it up. He was condescending. I should have known better when I bought the car from them in August and they tried to deceive me with financing. I ended up getting my own financing at a much better rate. Don't get me wrong...I love the Santa Fe...It's my third one, but I will NEVER buy or get service from Atlantic Hyundai again and nor should you!

NO PROPER FOLLOW UP. LONG WAIT TIMES FOR INFORMATION. WORK NOT DONE.
POOR SERVICE.
PERSON TO PICK-UP CAR NEVER SHOWED UP, NOR DID ANYONE CALL TO SAY WHY, BUT THE COMPUTER CALLED ME THE DAY BEFORE TO MAKE SURE OF MY APPOINTMENT.

Impossible to get in touch with
The service department is impossible to get in touch with, no one ever answers the phone, and you the receptionist puts you through to the service adviser who is never there, and never returns your calls. Terrible customer service.

Terrible service following purchase of car
Initial car purchase went smoothly, though, I did feel rushed into leasing the car. Following leasing my current car bringing it in for service has been an absolute nightmare. Very poor customer service and extremely expensive. Would not recommend to anyone. Have leased from Toyota in the past with positive experience and will likely return to lease another toyota once my current lease through atlantic hyundai is complete.

Not a good day
A very unhappy and dissatisfying day for me today 4/22/2014. This is my second purchase of a Hyundai Sonata and just might be my last from Atlantic Hyundai. I brought in my 2013 Sonata for an Air Conditioning problem and was advised that the car was due for a 15,000 mile service. I waited for over 3 hours before I even saw my car again, and then I was told that the condensor had a hole in it and that it was my problem to have it fixed at a cost of $1000.00 which almost made me fall over! The 15,000 mile service that was done cost a total of $426.29 and that included a discount of -$61.15 Looking at the bill, I feel that I was (nickel and dimed), paying for solvents, cleaners and additives. Isn't this why we purchase new vehicles, so we don't have these unexpected costs!! Upon taking the time to investigate the cost of the Condensor with labor, I found that I can get it done (somewhere else) for $500.00 Total!!! I am very angry and disappointed with Atlantic Hyundai

Service did not completly fix car
Erica from the resolution department contacted me and was wonderful in resolving this issue. The repairs will be done in a timely manner and they were wonderful to give us a car rental in the meantime. I have been a Hyundai customer from the time they first came out and we have always had Hyundais because we love the cars.

I have been doing business with this dealership for 11 years.
This in my 6th Hyundai. Cars are dependable, but there is nothing like their service dept.
Always friendly and helpful. No Gimmicks or games.
THey tell you exactly what they are going to do and give a true price.
No surprises.
