The dealer did not find the problem!
I have a leaking in the windshield reservoir , however the dealer said that everything was ok. After days I have the same issue.

Oil leak that was hard to locate
My 2012 had an oil leak that was extremely difficult to locate. Jake was very helpful and would not give up until I was satisfied. Given a loaner they kept my car until they were sure the problem was solved and kept me informed throughout the process. Everyone truly went beyond my expectation to make me happy. I will definitely keep returning for both service and new car purchases!

Great brand and car. Dealership has always been the best. Only problem I've had is an oil pan leak that can't be fixed. But if I check oil and add as needed and pressure wash the driveway I should be ok until the fire comes.

Sound issue resolved!
After several attempts, the service department at Eckert Hyundai were able to resolve an issue with sound going out on my Tucson's infotainment system. The problem was sporadic and took back-and-forth with the dealership and Hyundai technical support to trace it to an impedance issue with one of the speakers causing the amp to shut down. At least, that was my understanding.

Shout out to Jake and Don for their persistence in resolving the issue. Thanks!

Mr. Podrasky,

  I am sorry you feel this way sir, as i explained when you where here. We have to duplicate your concern to perform a repair per our Manufactures agreement. Once duplicated there is a very specific trouble tree to follow. This is why we thought it was good timing you said you were going out of town, thus giving us the opportunity to duplicate your concerns that appeared to only happen after extended driving times. I do apologize it was not easy to duplicate the concern, this is why we provided you with alternate transportation. It was driven 503 miles over the same time period. I am sorry you feel upset with how the service went, i will be more than happy to replenish any fuel we used and wash your vehicle, just let us know when you would like to do such.

I apologize you are having concerns with your vehicle ma'am. That is not what we want you to have either. Is there a day that you can either bring the car and leave it, or a day when you can come by and show one of my technician's whats happening, we, unfortunately, have not been able to duplicate the concern. The Manufacturer (Hyundai) will not let us do any repairs until we can duplicate and validate what we are doing and why.

Not put together correct after a fix.
Had my steering wheel collar replaced. Mechanic failed to plug back (don't know why it was unplugged) my dimming and ECO buttons (display). Had to fight traffic and drive back to Denton the next day to get it fixed.

 I do understand your disappointment sir, i can assure it was not done intentionally. All of the things mentioned plug into one connector and it must have been left unsecured. I am sorry you would think we would not want to repair your vehicle, the manufacture pays us to do so when your vehicle is under warranty.

Your vehicles Warranty expired June, 14-2016 4 Months prior to your October visit.

Warranty Start Date
06/14/2011 (67 months, 2 days)

We did check your Battery, alternator, and starter where checked and all was performing properly. If your brake light went out sir and it is the same one it is a parts warranty as well.

Attached is a copy of your receipt from 10-17-16 
REPLACED LEFT RUNNING LIGHT BULB AND 3RD BRAKE LIGHT BULBS.
These are different bulbs.

I brought my car in for an oil change in June. Explained that the low tire sensor light had come on a few days before. Had the tires checked at Firestone and they were all fine. Apparently the sensor was not replaced but something was done. Had to bring back the car the next week. The sensor still wasn't working. Came back in this month for another oil change and the low tire sensor had come back on. After the 2nd time in June, I walked into the service manager's office and spoke to him. Total waste of time and no help.

Mr. Hall,

  I am unaware of someone having to come in for a low tire sensor. If any tire has a loss of air of 3 pounds of air it will illuminate the tire light. We have had to replace two of the tire sensors, i can assure you we don't want them to fail either.
I personally apologize if you thought i "blew someone off" i would not do that intentionally. If there is something that we could do to make this better, please let me know, we will try our best to do so.

No words to describe the service department
Nothing I can really say here, take car in new, comes out very used. Back window replaced 3 times because of replacing a bad tint job. Dents, scratches, and a month of not having my new car. Don't know if I will continue with the Hyundai brand due to the stuff i had to deal with since buying the car.

 I am sorry that you feel this way sir, the very car you purchased was an auto show vehicle and it was sold to you at a reduced cost due to some minor imperfections.
I personally spoke to you after the third day your vehicle was here and told you that you could pick your vehicle up and enjoy it while i ordered you and new back glass and you respectfully declined, while utilizing our loaner vehicle program.

I really am sorry that you feel that the product had let you down, we noticed the scratch in the back glass and pointed it out to you and said we would absorb the cost of said glass. Once replaced you were unhappy with the result, so we had respected your opinion and then replaced it for a second time (no charge).

Your vehicle's down payment you agreed to pay the sales dept. was not fulfilled but due to your inconvenience. We absorbed (Eckert Hyundai) that cost as well.

 You have a very nice car and my hope is that you start enjoy your vehicle. 

I do hope you have a positive experiences at Van Hyundai.

I scheduled an oil change & additional work with the service. When I spoke to the rep upon arrival, I just needed a few of the items completed instead of the whole package. He was being transparent about what I needed & the cost. It made it easier for me to decide to add on a few more maintenance items they suggested, after they got into working on the car. I feel good about having the dealership work on my car, like I’m always in good hands!

Exceptional Service Center!
I ran into an issue with an oil pressure alert with my 2010 Sonata. I contacted Jakob at Eckert Service and let him know I was going to have the car towed to them to ensure no damage to the engine if it was a serious issue. Eckert reviewed my car the next day and let me know that the alert called out an oil pressure sensor (best case!). They ordered the part and replaced the sensor when it arrived. I already had another service appt scheduled for the next week to repair a broken rear door handle. I left the car and they replaced the door handle when the part arrived and had their paint specialist paint the new parts and take care of some additional touch-ups while he was there. I am very pleased with all of the work performed. The car still looks and rides great after 12 years and 152,000 miles. Thank you to Jakob, Billy and the rest of the Eckert Service Team!
