My third Elantra and they keep getting better!

This is the third Elantra I have owned. The first one was a 1992, which lasted over ten years and 140k miles. The second one is a 2015, which my daughter still drives, and it has over 100k problem-free miles on the odometer. This 2020 Elantra Limited has been great so far (80k miles). No mechanical issues in almost six years of ownership. It is very comfortable for long road trips, and on these trips it regularly gets 40+ mpg. My only gripe is the cost of the connected services...three services at $99/year each and they spread the features you really want over the three services. Especially aggravating was when a couple of years later Hyundai offered these free for life of vehicle with newer models, but did not grandfather for those of us who have been Hyundai customer longer!

Numerous repairs/ peeling paint

I would recommend a Hyundai to my worst enemy have owned one for almost 3 years, and Everytime I turn around it's in the shop for something.

Wears like iron

Great gas mileage - I routinely get between 40 - 45 mpg. Just do the regular maintenance and you'll sail right along. Do the tire rotation at the same time as changing oil, and all is good. I use the synthetic oil - good for 5000 miles between changes. Between taking regular gas and using the eco drive mode, you will likely wonder what took so long to discover this gem

Excellent car

Overall for the price, the Hyundai ELANTRA is a very solid, reliable vehicle. Very simple, not complicated controls. Easy to operate and figure out how to drive. For the price it’s a very good vehicle.

Overall good car. I thoroughly enjoy driving on hill country roads. Fuel economy is excellent. Upper 20's to 30's in town. 38 -40 on the highway. Interior is roomy and comfortable. Climate control works well.

Great little car

I traded my 2015 Chevy Cruz for my 2020 Elantra Sport. I like everything about this car, but just wish it had a back up sensor. I got the blue color, and absolutely ? I just wish I didn’t blow my speakers lol

My experience was awesome

The overall experience with me purchasing this vehicle was great, I made a good decision that day to buy a car, I got it during the clearance sales event, and even though we were there for several of hours, the price changed three times, they really worked at it to giving me the best deal.. and I’m so grateful.

Very reliable car in all road types and weather

I have experience for different weather and road types and if always proved right for decision I made .Ease of driving is excellent and not to worry feeling all the time. Very comfortable car , only concern is interior is little file which makes car less attractive.

More improvement needs to be done for as having a anti theft device installed to make it very hard to steal or break into. Also more refinancing for the Hyundai Elantras should be easy to do. Some insurance

runs great, hyundai serviced,

had hyundais since about 2013. good driving car. had an accident in one. was rear ended by car going 40mph . 2 passengers, no injuries. car totaled. crumple zones absorbed impact exactly like they are supposed to.

My favorite car ever!

Love everything about my car, except maybe the color of which I had no choice. Black is not my first choice. I drove two different Elantra rentals and made my decision it would be my next car! I loved the way it handled. I very much disliked my suv at the time.

Nice to drive! However cannot drive a car in this country without insurance!!

Engine Replaced and Car Stolen

Buying this car is my biggest regret. Within the first year of ownership the engine had to be replaced. Then a year later my car got stolen (look up Kia Boyz). Hyundai does not make reliable or well made cars. Spend some extra money and get a honda or a toyota. At least they make reliable well-made cars.

Worse car ever, easy to Steal.

Not a safe vehicle, easy to steal. My vehicle did not had the security feature. Within 5 minutes with a USB my car was stolen. The damages of the car was pretty serious and scary at the same time. I will never buy another Hyundai waiting for the car to be fix to trade in.

My car was stolen.

The anti-theft system didn’t work and my car was stolen because of a TikTok challenge. I don’t know why a car is even capable of being started with a USB! And my daylight headlight went out and it’s not just the headlight. It is an electrical issue.

Great gas mileage, excellent power and acceleration, and a nice smooth ride. You can't do much better than that. I presently get between 42 and 46 miles a gallon using economy - grade gas. Average Car

Overall a good value for the money. Great gas mileage but CVT should be improved as it struggles with climbing hills and is difficult to service. Some parts, in my particular case, the alternator was defective and finding a new one during the height of the pandemic took over 30 days. Wheel size is too small and narrow.
