Never have had a mechanical issue after almost 3 years of daily, long mile usage. Comfortable, and the convenience package makes this feel like a much more premium car (adaptive cruise control, digital dashboard, lane assist, etc.). Front seat door cupholders do not fit much, and your only others in the whole car are the two between the front seats- not a major concern but something you notice more overtime. Would recommend as a great commutre car to anyone. The MPG for myself (mostly highway) hovers around 40 all time.

All dashboard lights stay on

Too many things can and do go wrong on SEL GIVE ME THE BASE MODEL BECAUSE THE LIGHTS ARE LIT UP FOR ALL THE SAFETY FEATURES WHY HAVE SAFETY FEATURES IF YOU CANNOT TELL THAT THEY ARE WORKING BECAUSE THE LIGHTS STAY ON. The dealership make you wait a month to come in and still we cannot leave with your car after waiting hours SO YOU MISS A WHOLE DAY FROM WORK JUST TO TAKE AN UBER HOME WHY DID I WAIT A WHOLE MONTH FOR THE APPOINTMENT???

Horrible

Bought this car brand new due to all the safety features for myself and my family. Spent months with all the safety features malfunctioning while driving and corporate stated because they couldn’t get it to pick up a diagnostic code in the shop there was nothing they could do even when I had multiple videos of the malfunctions happening. They showed no concern for the safety of myself or my small children to be in this vehicle and brushed me off.

It is a good car. I don't know the price as I leased it in a desperate effort to get a vehicle for my wife..... as Toyota was pricing their cars, specifically a Corolla, at $15,000 over the MSRP....meaning $45k for a Corolla. the greatest ethical issue. Thus, I went to Hyundai to see if they would lease a similar-sized vehicle without gouging. And they did well, for me. I took a gamble at reliability with Hyundai but haven't been convinced that I should continue. Plus many other vehicles Hyundai sells are daily priced equal to Toyotas.... hmmmmmm seems they they are winning a reputation and will cost plenty.

No problems after 2 years of driving

Great gas mileage, solid car no squeaks or rattles, turns on a dime, takes Corners like it's on rails, gets right up to speed getting on the highway, I take long drives at times and the seats are comfortable, sporty looking, you don't need to many extras because a lot of them are included.

Great Fuel Mileage

We LOVE the fuel mileage! Usually about 42 mpg. Smooth vehicle and very comfortable to drive. Very quiet vehicle. Speeds up quickly, brakes wonderfully. Love the back up camera and the warning that something is in my way or on my side before backing up or changing lanes.

Great Gas Mileage

Great gas mileage. A comfortable ride. A little low to get out of for older people and tall people. I haven’t paid more than $42 to fill up and usually get the medium (89) when I do fill up. I have the basic model.

Love my Elantra

The only fault I have is that my Elantra was bought when availability for cars was small. The model I bought did not have rear speakers as a standard feature that was a bummer. Even more is that you can't add rear speaker from aftermarket.

Car is overpriced by $2000. Interior design (bar in middle console has no purpose whatsoever. Getting the interior to warm up takes far too long. Same with the A/C far to long to cool down. The noise you experience when approaching 50 mph and better is too loud for me. Car interiaor and door frame is not built for a person at 240 lbs or higher and car sits too low as I bang my head at least twice per week getting in the drivers seat. I am 6'0 tall

Both my wife and I like the vehicle. It was comfortable to drive and got excellent gas MPG. On some trips (200miles+), we got 46-47 MPG. Of course, if we were driving in the mountains the MPG would be less, but still very high. Several people commented to us that the Calypso Red color was very attractive. I notice the "Red" color on the 2024 models are not as vibrant in the sunlight.

Great Car

I have had this car for 2 years now and paid about 22,000 for it new. I have had great experience with this car and the Hyundai service team overall. It is a commuter car so I wasn’t expecting much as far as engine power, but I don’t feel like I struggle in traffic and the engine does exactly what I would hope while giving me a 38-39 MPG average. I know they have hybrids that I’ll probably look into next time, but for now I am very happy with my fuel efficiency for commuting.
