Great car, wrong transmission.

The elantra n line is the perfect blend between comfort/luxury and sports car driving. The car looks great, the power feels smooth, and the handling is really nimble. Now for the bad, the ONLY gripe I have with the car is the 7 speed dry dct is incredibly sloppy (insane amounts of clutch slip that the dealer techs call "normal") it lunches into gear with low throttle input, it will slip the clutch completely if your driving under 10 miles an hour (i now what it feels like when the clutch engages and it does not fully engage until 2nd gear) and all of that is made 10 times worse when driving in cold weather. Removing the manual transmission option was a really bad move by hyundai imo and I cant recommend anyone get the dry dct as its unreliable and uncomfortable. It breaks my heart to have the transmission problems because I absolutely love everything else about the vehicle. It's a great car with the wrong transmission. (I'm a mechanic and I drive dual clutch cars all day long, hyundais 7 speed dry dct is hands down the worst dct I've ever experienced by far, and I've driven Fords power shift)
