2011 is a good year

Impressive automobile. Every drive is enjoyable and comfortable. Interior accessories are top notch. Exterior paint extremely resilient. V8 engine and tranmission run extremely smooth. Superior styling.

Chrome wheels

I love my Equus. BUT just found out that all four of my chrome wheels are pitted on the inside which destroys the seal. Hyundai has had many complaints but so far has refused to accommodate any replacement credit. Yes the car is 8 years old but never had a problem with any other car of even more years and greater mileage. Hyundai needs to provide relief. These are $900/wheel. I'd be happy with a less expensive replacement.. This car is a 5 star in all other regards. If you have had a similar issue please contact me at jerrold.kamensky@gmail.com.

Good car but hard to fix.

Perform nicely but hard to fix if problems occur. (Discontinued model.) It's great to own hi-quality cars for mid-class price. After drive 10k miles, trying to find new to replace. But it's discontinued.

excellent car

I bought the car in 2012 unexpectedly after test driving it. The car is beautiful, all the qualities described below, however I wish Hyundai was able to find away for the vehicle hold its value better. after owning the car for 7 years for what the vehicle was worth the value at this time is less than 50%. if I wanted to trade it in id get minimal for it. Also you get spoiled with the service provided at the beginning. After the lease is up they just treat you like any old customer.. LOL

If only it was an EV

This 2011 Equus is still, after 90000 miles, the best sedan I have ever driven. When Genesis comes out with an EV I will be takin g a close look. Hyundai/ Genesis has to get on the EV train before they lose a big chunk of market share. The future has arrivedand that's what I'm buying next.

Reliability Plus

Over four years old and the only problem was the tension on the gas cap door that had to be adjusted. Just replaced the battery, but in Arizona the average life is about 2.5 years. Mine went almost 4.

Owned Lexus and Cadilacs Prior

Equus the best automobile I have ever owned. Far better the Lexus and Cadilac Looking forward to the new Equus models which I read will have the latest improvements in steering. The car is simply wonderful and Equus service is outstanding.

I love this car. I was a previous Mercedes Benz owner and I thought I would never ever desire to drive any other vehicle until I drive the Equus.

I love this car. It is an excellent manufactured luxury car. Previously I was a Mercedes Benz owner and I thought I would never desire to drive another vehicle unti I drove the Equus. I bought it as a used Hyundia vehicle.. I bought it off the car lot instantly -and I am very satisfied with the overall performance of this vehicle. I am not so pleased with the tires and their performances. People stop me all the times and ask what is the name of that car? Who makes that car? Their responds usually is " Wow" it's beautiful and I never heard of it before. I would love to do a commercial of a real-life satisfied customer for this vehicle.

After 5 years of driving a 2011 Equus

This is an excellent vehicle and it was great right out of the showroom and remains great. Same options on a different luxury car would have cost $14,000 more. So price is wonderful but even better is the quality of the car. It is like a dream on long trips.

EQUUS reigns

Supreme comfort. Can drive it 10 hours at a stretch without fatigue. Gas mileage is excellent and I run it on regular. We have had no major problems xcept blown tire!

Very impressed

Had it over a year. Love the car. First few months a few maintenance issues. Light on door jam went out and am issue with the defrost button. But nothing big. Just minor stuff. Service is great at dealership.

It is just a pleasure to drive. I love to show it off and I can't tell you how many times strangers have come to me and said what a great looking car "what is it". I've always said you want to meet people have a cute baby, a cute dog and now I can add or an Equus.

Wonderful vehicle!

The 2011 Hyundai Equus Ultimate that my wife and I purchased from Glenbrook Hyundai in Fort Wayne five years ago is a wonderful vehicle. We purchased the vehicle for about $65,000. Before buying the vehicle, we compared a three year old used Mercedes S Class to our Equus Ultimate. The Mercedes had 50,000 miles and the same price as the brand new Equus. We drove both vehicles and did extensive visual checking of the vehicles. Bottom line, if the Equus had a Mercedes badge on its hood it would have sold new for over $100,000.
