Outstanding machine

This is an outstanding machine and a great deal. Had an exotic feel to it and I'm always questioned and complimented on it. My only complaint about the car is the lack of storage inside the car and that it goes through rear tires quickly. Get one if you can. You won't regret it.

Great service! The service team was amazing. Very helpful and thorough. They took time out to go through my vehicle with what I felt was a fine tooth comb. My car ran great and still does. Fast and friendly service.. I highly recommend them for all of your service needs.

Vehicle Reliability

I have owned my vehicle for about 6 years now and overall it’s been great except the airbags on suspension went out along with alternator. I perform all required maintenance on vehicle and for the price it’s been money well spent...I have my eye on the Genesis G90 but am waiting a year so all bugs with launch of vehicle can be worked out.

oustanding vehicle

this is one of the best cars on the market , I purchased my car new in 2011, and now I have over 160,000 miles on it and it still look and ride very well , most people thinks its still new. I would recommend this car to any and every one. I have four of my friend purchased this same vehicle.

The best vehicle I ever owned

The luxury, workmanship and operation of the Equus is the utmost in quality. The positive comments I receive even now 7 years later are extremely complementary. My only regret is that Hyundia decided to change the name of the Equus to the Genesis G90 thereby, in my estimation, lower the quality, ambiance, prestige and air of the Equus. It still have the appearance of quality but not the NAME that goes with the Equus.

BOUGHT MANY NEW CARS SINCE 1960---HYUNDAI EQUUS IS DEFINITELY THE BEST EVER

Purchased my new Equus November 2010. I'm a very critical person to what I purchase, and this was my Best investment in a new car. Extremely comfortable, powerful, safe and, believe it or not, economical. I travel from CA to FL to NY sometimes three times a year. My average MPG is ~28 to 30 miles per gallon of any grade of gasoline I use. I now have 148,000 miles on it, and the only item needed was a battery! (besides normal wear'n tear items as tires, brakes, etc.) And, speaking of brakes, I replaced the front brake pads and discs at 105,000 miles! This never happened before. Air suspension is terrific, and the power is awesome with and without it in "sport" mode. So sorry Hyundai stopped making the Equus. Don't know if I'll ever get rid of this. . . PS: Did you know that up until today, I've been stopped by others stating how beautiful the design is, and "who makes this" is what I'm always being asked. The car is now seven years old, and still attracts new people to it. We Love It.

This is simply a wonderful car from its luxurious look and ride to its economy of operation, thus an outstanding value. I was a Mercedes owner before buying this car but I have no desire to return to being a Mercedes owner.

Best Car I Have Ever Owned

Best car I have ever owned. It has been trouble free for seven years. The ride is excellent and it is big enough for me to carry my kitchen sink. Throughout my automotive life, I have own a Mercedes and an Audi. Both were good cars but my Equus out classed both. Besides the many amenities, the car used regular gas (that was one of my major criterion when I decided to buy a new car in year 2011). The car has a smooth running engine with plenty of power. My plan was to buy another one after ten years, too bad they are not made anymore. For me the price was right for a luxury automobile.

Even today as I m looking at new cars my Equus Hyundai had style, class and luxury all built in. It lit up when I walked up to it, it open and locked easily. The backseat had reclining seats with foot rest, with movie screen and a refrigerator.

The back windows had privacy screens as well as the back window which is great on a sunny day. The car I would have kept but it was 7 years old. I needed to move on. I looked at the Gen 90 but compared to my Equus the inside of the G90 did not compare, the wood, the plasctic handles and knobs the dash , Yes the Gen90 is big, so was the Equus but Equus car was presented as a class act luxury car. It has bells and whistles and yes it could compete with others above its class.. I feel the Gen90 needs to make upgrades to the interior and to match up to the video experience. I expected a lot after the video. Coming from an Equus 7 years old I couldn't jump out Equus into a Gen90 it was a step down. I might have gone for a gen80 because a lower price because the luxury features did not sell me this time. The luxury Equus was compared to Mercedes,Lexus, for less cost. The price point is good but the car is a tank. (really big car) with very little bells and whistles. I went into a jaguar. but who nows I might be back if they can improve noise level, seats, dash, and put back into it some more luxury not offered in this class of vehicle.

Six Year Review of 2011 Equus

Purchased this vehicle from Hilton Head Hyundaii from Ted in December 2011. It had about 3500 miles on it from the Manager driving it...so practically still brand new!! It currently has about 50,000 miles on it!! This vehicle is still revered by many as a top of the line luxury vehicle!! Compared to many of my friends driving Mercedes, Lexus, Audi, BMW, Cadillac, etc. this car is still a beast!! All of those owners of the aforementioned vehicles have questioned their purchases now and many of their vehicles are newer than my 2011 and none have a refrigerator in the back seat!! Hence the reason I will not trade up to a newer model...love my frig!!
