Overall great, but there are few improvement needed areas.

When I complete the charging, often the cover isn't working. In this case I just drive leaving the cover open, then it cover closes. Air-conditioning is always an issue. it is never cool enough. In it's highest level / very low temp set up, still the wind isn't cool enough.

Blown ICCU

Great car. I loved it until the ICCU failed on the freeway with my grandkids in the car. I will never buy from Hyundai again.

Great car except that the a/c will randomly turn off. If we turn off the car and restart it the a/c will come back on

My first EV

Ioniq5 is my first ev and for the past year, I have driven it in mostly city conditions with plenty of highway driving. I must say this is an amazing car for people that are looking for different EV options.

Ioniq 5 --- An Amazing Vehicle

This is the first vehicle (EV or not) I've had with so many thoughtful (even imaginative) features. Although Hyundai did a fine job explaining the essential features, I'm still finding new ones as I explore a bit more.

Car is excellent save a few key things: 1. Range - we need 400+ miles 2. Bluetooth connectivity - had to buy an aftermarket device 3. Training/customer support - lots of features that are buried deep in the user interface or that no one took the time to show us how to use. Training/set up should be a part of every sale.

Great value, even better driving experience

Perfect small to mid-size car for city families. 22 months of included charging was a good bonus! Drives really well, good design on the inside. Would surely recommend this.

Excellent EV

This was my second EV and comparing it to the Mach-E, the overall features are equalivent and some surpass what Ford is offering. Their best feature is the charging speed. I'm able to charge from 20-80% in about 15 minutes vs about 30 minutes on the Mach-E

great EV

I am at about 29,000 miles on my 2024 Ioniq 5 SEL AWD. It has been great. There was a faulty ultrasonic sensor that was replaced free of charge otherwise no problem. A joy to drive. My only improvement would be a rear wiper that the 2025 does have. My first EV and I would buy this same car again. It was a very easy transition from an internal combustion engine vehicle and I had some of the best.

Proximity warning light

The alarm is inconsistent when approaching a vehicle in front while stationary. The center light comes on, and sometimes the side lights come on.

Hyundai is the best

I love driving my 2024 Ioniq 5. I wish I had the 2025 but whatcha gonna do? Plenty to critique, but overall this car is a real, modern, comfortable crossover which just happens to be 100% electric. With the Tesla adapter/2025, the Ioniq 5 is the kind of vehicle that will bring EVs into the mainstream. Well done!
