Worst Experience Ever

The car maybe ok, but I have had the worst experience ever dealing with Hyundai and Hyundai Finance compared to any other product I ever purchased in past 30 years. I will be going out of the way to share my bad experience with people and making them stay away from the Hyundai/Kia brands

Love this car!

I have really enjoyed having this car! It works so well for me - I mainly use it to go to and from work. The only issue I have with it is literally that it doesn't have a rear window windscreen wiper - which is certainly not a deal breaker. It is easy to charge, and handles so well on the road.

Love this car!

It’s a beautiful car, but the 2024 did not have the electronics set up well, this made it cumbersome to use. There was a background sound on the phone calls that the callers could hear.

Great trunk space, but drive could be smoother

Having multiple regen options may seem like a good thing, but none of them are tuned as nicely as my Chevy Bolts were. It’s also a bit mind boggling that there is no rear wiper.

It’s fine

I leased this car because I didn’t want to he seen driving my Tesla anymore. I just needed to get out. The car is fine and the mileage is good, but I am used to the tech offered in the Tesla. I didn’t think it would be such a difference but it really is. This car would be great if it had a few more tech bells and whistles and if the car didn’t creek when driving over a stone.

Great car, company not so smart…

Amazing automobile. However, Hyundai drop the MSRP of the 2025 model by $10,000 and gutted the value of the 2024 model. Unbelievable.

Comfortable, smooth riding, quiet, reliable & inexpensive car to drive

This car has a very comfortable ride. It's very quiet inside even at 80 mph. Not a single thing has gone wrong with it. It costs me 66% less to put fuel in it to go the same distance as a gasoline powered vehicle. In the end, it costs less to drive than any gas powered car could.

Best EV ever!

Reliable and easy to drive. It has taken us from the ski resorts of Colorado to the beautiful beaches of Florida without missing a beat. We enjoy it all the time, and it has become my wife’s favorite car. Soon my daughter will be driving it too, so it’s about to become the most fought-over car in the family.

Fun EV that is super nice for road trips

The ev is nice to drive and amazing for road trips. I love the fast charging of the 800V and the softer suspension that gives a smoother ride than rivals. The rwd in sport mode, especially when wet is fun because it lets you play around a bunch.

2024 IONIQ 5 Tailgate Noise

The only problem that I have had with the vehicle is tailgate noise. It is very noticeable on local roads when hitting minor bumps such as a manhole cover or simply rougher pavement surfaces. On recently paved surfaces or at highway speeds it is not noticeable. I have had the car in for service 4 or 5 times for this problem and the service techs have not been able to resolve the issue. The last time the service report said it was the rear seat belts. The tech took me on a test drive with the rear seatbelts latched and he acknowledged the continued sound but the service report was unchanged. This problem does not affect the performance of the car but does impact our satisfaction. My rating of Build Quality and whether I am willing to recommend the vehicle was affected by this singular problem. The inability of Hyundai to resolve the issue after I took the vehicle to 2 different service centers will make me hesitant to purchase a vehicle from Hyundai in the future.
