100,000 miles and beyond

I bought this car new from Tustin Hyundai in 2014. Now, it recently passed 100,000 miles and it still runs fine. I have only performed routine oil and air filter changes, replaced the car battery last October, and recently updated software for engine sensor. Thankfully this car hasn't been affected by the engine issue. The brake pads are still original and Pep Boys said they are still good for at least another year, which is amazing. I love the back up camera and seat warmer in the car. And, it drives a lot quieter and smoother compared to smaller cars like the Elantra. My only complaints are the fuel efficiency could be better and gas nozzle at some gas stations like Costco will stop pumping gas before the gas tank is full, so there may be an issue with the gas cap.

Not what i thought

I purchased a Santa Fe after being the owner of a 2006 Sonata that ran and is still running great. i kept up with all maintenance on my Sonata and thought that by doing the same for the Santa Fe I'd have the same joy but the materials inside the car are cheap plastic which break easily and there have been 3 recalls to date. After reading many negative reviews from other people i'm realizing that it's not just this one. unfortunately I will be looking to purchase a different brand of suv in the future.

I would buy another Santa Fe, I am extremely happy with this one.

We am extremely satisfied with my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. I bought it new in Seattle and found the AWD worked well in the the snow as well as on the often wet streets. With just about every option available on a 2014, she is very well equipped. I find the interior to be comfortable and well laid out. I still love the exterior styling. I would buy this vehicle again, especially with all the improvements they have made in the last five years.

Love it. Fun to drive. Dependable

I never thought that I would own an SUV and then I had a head on crash and I decided I needed a more safe and secure vehicle with luxury amenities and that was the Santa Fe Sport. Regardless of weather or road conditions, I know that the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport will make my journey from start to finish a safe one!

Hyundai's Santa Fe is perfection

I have been so pleased with my 2014 Santa Fe - the height, the ride, the interior vehicle comfort. My daughter will be replacing her father's 20 year old Impala for a Santa Fe this year! It will be hard to let go of emotionally - but Obrien Hyundai has helped the transition by being such a great customer service dealership!

Good reliable vehicle

Responsive handling is great for driving in traffic and parking in tight spaces. Very good gas mileage. Compass is a handy feature for driving in different cities. Wide column pillar adds strength to Sport’s structure, but it also obstructs part of driver’s view. Overall, we are very pleased with our Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. Rear gate lock is touchy when trunk is loaded.

Love the Santa Fe

We enjoy the SUV. It is the right size for us. It has everything we want on it. It is very easy to drive and rides very smooth. Has plenty of power and gets good gas mileage for this size SUV. The seats are comfortable. Has plenty if places to store all our items. The Bluetooth works great which is a plus. I have had other vehicles that the Bluetooth was spotty. Will definitely recommend this to others.

2014 Santa Fe Sport

I like the vehicle; however, am disappointed with the weatherstrip around drivers door. It has been replaced twice in 47K miles. Also the trim around the bottom of the passenger front seat has been replaced twice. All done under the warranty. On my dime after warranty expires.

I love my car and I believe it is a fantastic vehicle and excellent value for money. It's stylish, comfortable, and just the perfect size. I would just recommend to make sure to either buy new or certified pre-owned so that you have the full 100,000/10-year power-train warranty.

Engine went bad at 12 midnight

Worst experience ever. While driving home one night, my truck start to stall which was one of the worst experiences I have had while driving. I get my vehicle service regularly and even though Hyundai knew they had a issue with their vehicles I was never notified about engine issues. Then. Month later the AC went out, I feel like what else? But I still owe on this truck.

Engine blew up

Engine ceased while on alligator alley going 70, the speed limit. Could have died. Company not fabulous to deal with after that awful experience. Had car for months after. They denied was issue, even though same recall on other model. Same exact engine.

Love my Santa Fe

I love my Santa Fe Sport T2.0. It has lot of room for grandkids. Very comfortable ride and has lots of hook ups for everyone's devices. The interior is very stylish with all the bells and whistles. The interior beat the Equinox and the Edge by far. I feel safe in this car. It is an awesome ride.

My trusty steed

I worked evenings and nights as hospice nurse in Minnesota 12-16 hour shifts working out of my car most of time. From driving through blizzards hail monsoon rains fog and clouds of mosquitoes ? covering 7 countries my trusty steed has never failed. We drove to Florida where we now live and it still is in top form. Thanks Hyundai!!
