Ugly little SUV, but serves purpose

Couldn't afford the SUV I wanted and knew of great warrant provided by Hyundai. Drives ok, car phone not good at all, have to change to private on my cell in order to hear people and for them to hear me. I knew this SUV would last me for years. Not happy I didn't receive last recall notice and it was the same recal part from last year! That worries me a bit.

Power

Do not buy santa fe SPORT 2,4L 4 cylinder. You will have trouble to speed up to get into freeway. Also 4 cylinder doesn't save any gas. Santa Fe 6 cyl. will be better. I am thinking to replace Santa Fe V6 or Toyota Highlader.

Santa Fe Review

The car drives wonderfully, but I am totally frustrated by the amount of recalls that I have had on this car. It is 3 years old & has 4-4 recalls to this point.

nice car, crazy tire issues

Have enjoyed the ride and look of the car. Have not enjoyed the continuing saga with the tire pressure monitoring system. I get it fixed at the regular service and it lasts for a week until the warning light comes on. Check the tires and they are either OK or some are randomly lower. So I don't know if it is the car or bad tires. Hard to recommend the car after this experience which is on-going.

Love/Hate relationship with my 2014 Santa Fe Sport

There are definitely some design flaws in this vehicle that can be easily fixed. The leather in my seats did not hold up to regular use, and the dealership made it a 4 month process to getting the warranty company to repair it. I think I lost more in wages going back & forth to the dealer than what it cost to repair! Finally, it did get repaired and it is holding up. Thus, leather can be of better quality. The windows CONSTANTLY freeze shut in the winter time and my key pad on the door handle is pretty useless in temps below freezing because it too freezes to the point in in operation. The Blue Link is a joke, costing $200 a year for the remote starter (cannot buy it as a standalone feature) and I only use it during the winter. To get one installed from the dealer is almost $1500. CRAZY! I would buy an aftermarket, but I have the extended warranty and it will be void if I put one in from anywhere but the dealer. (this is why I will most likely never buy another NEW car again!) I love the comfort of my Hyundai, but the annoyances with Blue Link and the Warranty company make it hard to be a repeat customer.

Enjoy it

This is a great vehicle but I miss having homelink and dual climate control. It does great in the snow and couldn't be happier with that aspect. Has a great radio but not very user friendly. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

Disappointed

Everything is falling apart or cann't be fixed the first time by the other dealer. The CD player melts CD S, window washer still leaks after repairs, seat belts difficult use by elderly or young people.

2014 Santa Fe Sport with 37800 miles

Bought this in Las Vegas after 2 years we moved to Virginia. GPS acting slow and getting lost every time, headlights clear coat is coming off, top windshield has bubbles and it leaks inside, front seats head rest are almost falling apart, dash board plastic has bubbled, fuel cover stuck all the time and fry with credit card to open, rear door shocks are leaking, Continental tires dry rotted since last year, I used the floor jack one time and twisted a little bit and the car fell off in the ground. Can't wait to trade this SUV this year.

Santa Fe Sport

I am not wild about my santa Fe sport. I had a Kia Optima before this and loved the car and my husband wanted me to get a all wheel drive vehicle and I thought this might be the best thing. It has done well except for the engine seeming to knock every time I would start it up and people would say to me " I think you need oil" The problem is I would have just had an oil change or checked the oil myself and it was perfect. The santa Fe does not get as good as gas mileage as I wished it would. Maybe that is because I like to drive a little above the speed limit. Overall, it is a good car.

Service on car

It drives alright ..not as smooth a ride as accustomed to, Doesn't have electric driver seat, doesnt have GPS nor back-up camera Ir has dull-looking grey wheels....look cheap. Have no information as to when last o8l change occurred. Dealer couldnt, or wouldnt tell me.

Bad Place for Molding

Hate the molding around the front seats. They break often and cause the back of the seat to unhinge. Sucks because Hundai doesn’t want to continue to fix their lousy problem. NO MORE MOLDING!!!!! Mine is still broken.
