2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport review

We purchased our 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport used in 2016. We have owned various other SUVs, but this SUV is our favorite. It is relatively loaded with a panoramic sunroof, leather interior and various options. Mileage is around 25 MPG which is average for a SUV, but it does not require premium gasoline. We have had no problems with this vehicle and is a pleasure to drive.

Excellent Automobile

I have worked in and been around the automobile industry for many years and this Sante Fe S is the most comfortable riding automobile we have owned. It has superior handling and is really quiet, with the windows up. This automobile is equipped with many options. I would recommend this automobile to everyone I know.

Santa Fe Review

I love my Santa Fe Sport. It is fun to drive, comfortable, & sporty. Love the warranty. The side mirrors are great with the blind vision sensors. The rear view camera makes backing much easier. It is just a great car.

My Santa Fe Sport.

I love everything about my Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. The color, Canyon Copper is gorgeous and I get a lot of complements on this car. I have gone over 3500 miles on a driving trip and gotten excellent mileage. It's a very comfortable car to take on long trips and you can't beat the warranty package that comes with the Hyundai and Kia automobiles.

I love my Santa FE

The car is cute. It isn't too big but yet I feel like I have a lot of room. The style is classy enough so that I feel like I am in a more expensive luxury car. I have enough leg room.This is my second Santa fe and I didn't test drive any other car when I shopped for this one

2014 Santa Fe Sport with 37800 miles

Bought this in Las Vegas after 2 years we moved to Virginia. GPS acting slow and getting lost every time, headlights clear coat is coming off, top windshield has bubbles and it leaks inside, front seats head rest are almost falling apart, dash board plastic has bubbled, fuel cover stuck all the time and fry with credit card to open, rear door shocks are leaking, Continental tires dry rotted since last year, I used the floor jack one time and twisted a little bit and the car fell off in the ground. Can't wait to trade this SUV this year.

Santa Fe Sport

Love this model! This is my third Santa Fe since 2002. I love the way this vehicle handles, the smooth ride, and the features included in this model. I love the heated leather seats, the sport mode, the rear window shades, the dash displays, and the lane change indicator.

Santa Fe Sport

This is the second Santa Fe I have purchased in Longmont. I love it. Has all the bells and whistles, performs very well, the safety features have been great and the service I have received is excellent. The Stevinson dealership in Longmont, CO. has always shown us curtesy, and good customer service. I would and I have recommended a Hyundai and the dealership.

Quick Fix

Had a slight mechanical problem with auto door locks. Car was in at 7:45 a..m. and out by 9:00 a.m. Service Tech was great and spot on with his follow up. Car also was serviced for oil change and tire rotation.99

Disappointed

Everything is falling apart or cann't be fixed the first time by the other dealer. The CD player melts CD S, window washer still leaks after repairs, seat belts difficult use by elderly or young people.

2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T

Going on 4 years and 26600 miles with no maintenance except for oil changes and tire rotations. Turbo 4 cyl is great powerful and smooth. Interior is nicely done with acceptable quality material. Still have original tires and good for this inspection. A nice fairly quiet ride and firm grip to the road.

Good vibes

She has good bass, drives well, feels comfortable, tons of space, and has a cool name. Is definitely a reliable vehicle or at least feels that way driving through ice and snow. Heats up quick and the controls on the steering wheel help make driving easier.

First Hyundai - Santa Fe Sport

I've always driven sedan's and this was my first purchase of an SUV. I am reminded every time I drive my Santa Fe that it was the perfect choice. My Santa Fe has been driven from coast to coast and from Florida to Maine. It is perfect size and comfort for traveling. I get compliments continually even after 4 years of ownership.

I love this car but wish the steering did not have so much play as I like a little tighter steering. That is the only reason why I did not give it a five star rating. I do love the safety features on this car.

2014 Hyundai Santa Fe sport turbo

I had always driven Subaru’s until my local dealer owner introduced me to the Hyundai Santa Fe. I have to admit that I was not in love with the logo. It seemed so generic for such a nice quality vehicle. I drive over 60k miles per year as I cover a sales territory in central Ohio and eastern Indiana. My last Santa Fe was a 2008 v6 limited. I drove this vehicle to 275k and it still was in great shape. Actually I got $7500 for my trade toward my 2014. The only major repairs or should I say the only service repairs during that time of 6 year’s included 2 sway bar links and 2 blower motor replacements. I keep up on my regular maintenance as this car is a tool I must depend on to do my job. I moved to my first 4 cyl in 2014. I have always been a little sceptical on the longevity of that size engine especially since I carry about 350#’s of samples and literature. My first test drive was the 2014 sport. It was nice but I was accustomed to a 6 cyl. get up and go. My next drive was in the AWD 2.0 tubo sport limited, and that sold me on the pick up and drivability. I felt like I was in my own cockpit with everything at my fingertips. Currently I am at 153 k miles on the 2014. I just replaced a backup camera and at 98k miles replaced the carriage drivetrain as it was vibrating from 45-55mph. The carriage was still under warranty which was awesome. These vehicles are stylish, tech savvy, extremely safe and very roomy and comfortable!!!! I have become a Hyundai advocate with my daughter in 2011 sonata sport AND we traded my wife’s 2012 Subaru Legacy back in 2015 for a new Sonata sport limited with all the bells and whistles. We purchased at a great price as it was a vehicle shown at one of the National car shows. I have been on the road in sales for over 25 years now AND I can honestly say that I have had the most dependability and least repairs with Hyundai. Not to mention all the bells and whistles that more expensive car brands talk about, however with Hyundai, they deliver in an affordable price range!! I will stay with Hyundai in the future for sure.... just not sure if my next vehicle will be the new Tucson, Santa Fe or the new Kona crossover once it arrives in the U.S soon!! Keep up the great value Hyundai!!!!!

Best SUV for the money

Since the purchase of my SF Sport 2.0T I have had no issues whatsoever. That's a first for me. This is my 4th Hyundai and I totally love it. Other dealers have tried to get me to trade it in for another vehicle but unless they can give me what I already have in my Santa Fe for the same or less payment, I let them know they are wasting their time because I am totally satisfied with what I have. No maintenance issues great gas mileage and comfort.
