2014 Santa Fe

Love my Santa Fe. This is my 2nd one. Haven’t decided whether I would purchase another one or not whenever the time comes. My 2014 has had more things go wrong with it than my previous 2004. Hyundai has kept its prices at a reasonable range. They do have a better warranty coverage than other dealers. That is always something to consider.

Santa Fe Owner

I have owned a Santa Fe since 2001. My current vehicle is a 2014. I also had a 2007 and a 2002. I have never had a problem with any of my vehicles. Outstanding value for your money. Looking forward to my new Santa Fe that I will purchase later this year.

Santa Fe Sport 2.0

I've had this SUV for 3 yrs., and have been very pleased with this vehicle. Very comfortable, quiet on the road, and plenty of power when I need it. I live in snow country, and this car has no problem dealing with snow and ice. I had two Explorers prior to my Santa Fe, and they don't come near to the quality and reliability of the Santa Fe. If I ever need to replace it, I'm sure to buy another Hyundai SUV.

Glad we purchased our Santa Fe Sport

We did a lot of research before buying our vehicle. It is very comfortable and relatively quiet and loaded with features. I wish I had had the heated steering wheel when we lived in New England. Don't use it much in the Southwest. The factor that tipped the scales was the 100K-10 year warranty. We know have 60K on the odometer and it still feels solid and new. Mileage on road trips is 30 -32 mpg. When we're ready to buy again, we would certainly consider another Hyundai.

Best car ever

Although my car is a 2014, I have not had one issue with it. This inspection, I needed several small items. It is the most comfortable car I have owned. Gas mileage is good, 22-23 miles in town and 29-31 on a trip. If I were to buy another car, it would definitely be a Santa Fe Sport.

Santa Fe 2014

I like my car. Yes I do miss the V6 engine. But the 4cyl is doing pretty good. I like the room inside the vehicle, because most cars they are making them, so you don't fit inside the seat. I know that is why I didn't go for the KIA again. I like having the automatic and standard together. I hope that I will be able to stick with KIA or Hyundai.

Anxiety over engine function

My first Hyundai Santa Fe was a 2004 model and I put nearly 100,000 miles on it. The 2014 model Santa Fe I now own, that has just 65k miles on it, has had more issues than the first vehicle. Recently disclosed issues with Hyundai engine issues are disconcerting. I appreciate my local Hyundai dealer service persons integrity in working with me to resolve my recent troubling service need.

Happy Hyundai

I like Hyundai style and good performance. I really haven't had major issues with my car but normal wear. Car still in great condition and very good. On another note I like more the 2014-2016 body styles and front grills than the new front with that new fog light.

Vehicle review

Audi had a “bungee cord” tied to my wallet; pulling me back to the service department. I trained the Audi in on my Hyundai Sport 2.0T, loaded. Has an engine uncommon to the Sport. The engine is stated to have 265 to 274 horsepower. Standard is 235 hp. Good in snow, when we have any.

We love this Car

We love this SUV got it new in 2014 this Santa Fe held up so far very well a little slow sometimes getting on highway but loves the highway after about 5 mins or so city driving not as good is a bit of a gas hog in the city .but drives well in Gen wear and tear on the car is bit much tho we had to replace the molding under both seats 3 times the passenger front seat is showing a lot of wear and tear outside of that the SANTA FA is holding up RUNS WILL IN THE SNOW AS LONG AS YOU GET THE RIGTH TIRES no major issues so far if and when we turn this in we will look into the next size engine

Comfort of seats needs a lot of improvement and it is a rough ride, love the exterior look, drives well, when you go to open door you have to pull on handle and then push for them to open, not much leg room in back seats

I want to love my car, but...

Our 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe has had quite a few issues since we purchased it new in 2014. It's been in the shop more than we care to remember. We previously purchased a used 2006 Tuscon from Balise, and traded it in against the new Santa Fe. Wish we hadn't done the swap! Absolutely loved the 2006 Tuscon and had no complaints. Just needed the money towards the trade, but in hindsight would have kept the Tuscon, or just gotten a newer model Tuscon in 2014.
