Wish we had kept our 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe

We do not have as much storage room in this vehicle as we did in our 2016 Santa Fe. The Santa Fe had a large space in each of the front doors in which to store books, maps, etc as well as a place to hold a water bottle. The compartment between the seats of this 2025 Tucson is smaller and doesn't have a shelf, making the storage area less useful. There is no area for coins or a pen etc. There are too many electronic features. The heating system is not warm until you set it above 80, and the cooling isn't cool until it is set 65 and below. The Santa Fe had more storage areas in the cargo area where the spare tire can be found. Dealing with Hyundai Motor Finance was an awful ordeal. We still haven't received our Title, our registration address was incorrect and caused a delay in receiving it and we still have to correct the address with DMV.

Every once in awhile this car does not shift properly. If you are going up a hill it stays in the lower gear to long. If I back off on the gas it will go into the next gear.

Love it, but…

While I love the Hyundai Tucson, I’m surprised by the amount of work that has been recommended for service by the car dealer for a vehicle with 25,000 miles (in 2 years) has needed…that has been disappointing and really surprising. While my app reads that the vehicle is fine, the service provider is constantly finding something amiss that is either stated to be a safety or emergency repair need - not just things like a tire alignment but a whole system suspension service, etc.
