2025 Tuscon

We love the way the Tuscon drives and the fuel economy. It is spacious without being too big. The panoramic screen is very easy on the eyes, allowing you to see everything you need in one glance. We love the exterior of the 2025 and wonder why you changed it, not for the better, for 2027.

2025 Hyundai Tucson Review

Overall, I'm pleased with the Tucson. Had an unexpected issue with a faulty windshield washer motor. The motor failed ~8 months into me having the vehicle. It was covered under warranty. Also, I think this is inherent with the Tucson as I've been reading other reviews. The vehicle jumps/bucks when giving acceleration if the engine hasn't idled for ~2-3 minutes. It seems the car needs to run for a bit before taking it out and driving.

Perfect size, great value

Having decided to trade in our Hyundai Santa Fe after 6 stress free years of zero maintenance issues, we then chose to go slightly smaller with the Hyundai Tucson. We stayed with the top trim level because we hugely love the head-up display only offered on the Limited trim model. Much like the Santa Fe model that we had, the Tucson has been issue free for the first 13 months of ownership. Perfect vehicle for a 79 year old couple.

The road noise is higher than my Sonata. And the windshield wipers suck on this car. The breaks seem a bit weird as well.

Sensors are out of control annoying and dangerous.

I purchased this vehicle one year ago and have already needed it serviced 3 times. The side mirror was defective and looked like a funhouse mirror, the trim was coming off the side, and I just had to take it in today to get the horn replaced since it randomly stopped working. From what I was told, this is a known issue with Hyundai. I read online water getting in from rain or a car wash can cause the horn to stop working. Great. The entire dashboard has blacked out 3 times and then turned back on seconds later each time, not sure why that happened yet. If I am driving behind someone who is turning into a parking lot and I don't hit my breaks (because as a human driver I know there is no danger) the brakes get applied automatically. This ironically has almost caused me to get in an accident. The sensors on the display turn on depending on the weather. If it's raining for instance, the light will come on that it can't assist me in the type of situation I just described. If it is windy, the coffee cup lights up and tells you to take a break. This is all distracting, annoying and dangerous.

My vehicle is wonderful. There are a couple of things that would made it better. If I had purchased my Tucson in the Summer I would upgraded to one with air vents in the back.
