My least favorite vehicle I've had

From the jerky cruise control to all of the auto climate settings and "safety" features and even how the favorites/all XM radio seek works. This is by far my least favorite vehicle I have had many. I came from a Subaru Forester Wilderness (only traded in bc of 0% interest) and regret it daily. I can't wait to pay off enough to get rid of it. Plus when I purchased it (brand new), I noticed many things over the first couple weeks. None of my fluid levels were topped off, there was still plastic on engine parts and inside, the whole pick up process/vehicle walk through was terrible. The guy couldn't answer any questions I had on it. The seats mark very easily and are hard to clean. From pick up to driving daily for 5 months now had been a regret. Only positive is the seats are pretty comfortable. Another personal thing I dislike are all the curves in the exterior. Makes washing and drying much harder (I wash my own vehicles)

My 4th Hyundai, they get better and better

Best improvement was the small back side windows, can now actually see out of it. Not a blind spot.

My Tucson

This is our third Tucson lease and each has improved on the previous one. The technology is terrific, I love the new heads-up display. The cargo space exceeds the RAV4 and the CRV. We are very happy with this 2026.

Wouldn't Use on an Extended Trip

1. Uncomfortable seats. They are hard. 2. The panoramic console map shouldn't be so dim. In bright sunlight you cannot see the map. 3. Trunk is way too small to carry luggage and first aid supplies for family of 3. 3. Rough ride. You can feel every bump in the road no matter how small. 4. Wasted space by putting plastic as part of the front armrest. 5. The armrest does not move forward for shorter front seat passenger and/or driver. 6. Door pockets are small and not long enough to put essential items in. 7. You can only connect via setup, 2 phones. If a 3rd individual needs to connect they have to do it as a Guest.

The sensor that is supposed to see if your eyes are on the road or sleeping, is a DANGER to driving!!! Can't use sunglasses while driving ( tint the windshield?) can't use use one hand to drive ( don't have another one). It's not my responsibility to bend to the car. It's your responsibility to build a car that is safe and responsive to the driver, and not get in the way of the driver.

Control lights on dash are too dim even at full brightness. The feature to stop the engine when stopped needs a permanent shutoff.
