Love most everything about my new car

Love the look and have had many nice comments about it. So many features!! It will take me some time to learn them all but I love the auto start the warning features ie pictures when you use turn signals, warnings when someone is coming on either side, the parking assist features, the GPS, speedometer in the windshield, hearted seats and steering wheel and cooling for same, so many things!! The only thing I was and am very disappointed in is the fact there is no spare tire. There is a place for one but no tire!! I did not realize this until I got it home and was putting things in the back. Every car I have ever owned has come with a spare tire. Honestly I would not of bought this car if I had realized this before I bought it. The dealership said there was nothing they could do when I went back to tell them as I thought it was a mistake. It would be nice if Hyundai could make this right. This is why I marked down the "features and reliability" part of the survey. What if I am in an area where there is poor cell service and the emergency button isn't working. I am 74 yrs old. This is very concerning to me.

Front end collision avoidance

The collision avoidance is entirely too sensitive. I tapped my brakes because the car in front of me slowed, I had concrete visible between my front end and their back tires, the front end collision avoidance kicked in and locked my brakes up. When I couldn’t move like I needed to, the car behind me rear ended me. The brakes wouldn’t unlock quick enough. The car has slammed on the brakes for me 3x and each time there was plenty of space. It’s unsafe. Everything else was lovely but I’m returning the car as a repossession because I don’t feel safe driving it.

Fuel and horse power

I also have a 2020 sonata limited pickup and fuel economy is from my estimation is 25 percent difference favoring the sonata. The interior on my 2026 Tucson has some great improvements in comfort and technology. Maybe the 1.6t engine would be a better match for the Tucson.

Just right for me.

This is my second Hyundai Tucson and I’m very pleased overall. Love the big screen, wireless phone charger, interior lighting. It’s a nice upgrade.

I love the car but dealing with the extra stuff from the dealership has put me off using them again - including me needing to make extra trips to previous dealership, previous dealership leasing company and the DMV. All these things I never needed to do before.

Enjoy the ride, handling is nice, really like the dashboard setup, love the interior, exterior is pleasing to the eye, plenty of rear storage, use of mechanical key is confusing (instructions for use are not completely clear, will have dealership demo the use of the key so as not to damage the lock, etc)
