2026 Hyandai Tucson

Overall, it is a very nice SUV. I did notice a few things. Our model no longer has the charging pad, I did enjoy that in my last 2023 model. Also I was arguing with gas attendants over my gas cap. I guess it will not open if the door is locked. Something you should tell your customers. Mainly in NJ, where we don't pump our own gas.

Poorly designed

It was a big mistake buying this car. I had it for a couple months and turned it back in and got a Nissan Rogue. It was like driving a computer. Way way, way too many settings. How about making a car that a person can drive themselves. it was the most irritating experience I’ve ever had with a vehicle. And it had a recall a few months after I bought it. What the hell is that all about? Shame on you Hyundai you should be ashamed for designing and building a car like the Hyundai Tucson.

Not as advertised

Advertisements say the 2026 Hyundai Tucson is roomiest car in its class. My 2026 Honda CRV had much more room in both the backseat and in the back storage area.

Tucson 2026 review

Was never told by sales personnel that car battery will be drained by the high tech key fobs and computer unless measures were taken by buyer to avoid inadvertent battery drainage. Was told by service advisor that 1100 miles in <2 months was too low and we should be driving the car on expressway 30 minutes to help charge battery. Was told to lock car when parked in garage to shutdown computer. Don’t put lights in auto. Also, told not to put key fobs near car at night (we hang them inside house 10’ away from car).
