My 2026 Hyundai Tucson

The car is beautiful and performance is great. I love everything about it but I prefer the controls on the steering wheel to be more like my 2023 Tucson. With the 2026 the controls for smart cruise control have been switched from the right side to the left side and everything else that was on the left have been moved to the right side. It was much better with the 2023 two sunset set up. Also the air conditioning fan is very hard to adjust while you are driving since it is now a touch button rather than a knob that you can easily turn without looking.

I wasn't familiar with the brand's products. A pleasant surprise.

The price-to-quality ratio of the Tucson model has surprised me. It is a comfortable vehicle, and—since I do a lot of highway driving—I find the cruise control to be amazing.

Computer crashed 90 days after purchase

The car worked well until one day it suddenly wouldn't turn on or hold a charge. Turns out there was an issue with the cluster. It's been in the service center of my dealership since March 10. It's now April 14. I purchased the car brand new late November. It has a total of 845 miles on it.

Really nice vehicle. Getting "maps" to work is not intuitive, and it does not work some times. Also, having maps should be essential, not something I have to pay for.

Nice looks but features could be improved

The Tucson is very stylish and generally a pleasure to drive and own. However, there are a number of things that have been disappointing. One is a true safety flaw in that the rear turn signals are located at the very bottom of the car and so low that they cannot be seen by high profile vehicles behind you, those following too closely, or simply not very noticeable due to the location and small size. The navigation has led me astray many times and the pronunciation of the street names is often so far off as to be unintelligible. I was seriously disappointed and shocked to learn this car does not have the technology to program the garage door opener. There is no seat pocket on the back of the driver's seat and very few or even no storage cubbies throughout the car. My previous CRV and RAV4 had multiple storage compartments throughout the vehicle and I truly miss them on this Tucson. The "tugging" on the steering wheel when I don't stay exactly centered in the middle of my lane or when I need to move to the side of the lane to avoid a bicycle or golf cart is seriously annoying and potentially dangerous.
