Best car I ever owned

We've had this vehicle over four and a half years and have never had any problems with it. We get it serviced regularly and that's the only time it's been in the shop. Gets better MPG than the SRX I traded in for it and rides better also.

Best Car Ever!

I traditionally keep vehicles 4 - 5 years. I am coming on 6 years on the Veracruz LTD. I have no intention of trading it in. I have had virtually no issues with tis car and have it serviced and maintained at Earnhardt North Scottsdale Hyundai, where it is given excellent care! It is as comfortable in town as it is on road trips, and versatile enough to go to a lumber yard or nursery, or driven to an upscale restaurant.

I have received so many compliments on this car. It has been rated by some of my passengers as comparable to the Lexus. I agree as I test drive one before buying my car. Just very sad the stop making it.

Great Value

When people have asked me why I bought the Vera Cruz I come back with 100,000 mile warranty, more bang for your buck, great reliability and smooth ride.. I compared it to the Lexus 350 when I was shopping and the Vera Cruz is so much nicer, the interior top notch, the smooth ride and easy handling....Quiet cabin, roomy interior....can not say anything bad, one of my best purchases in a vehicle so far.....Just easy to drive and handles very well in snow and rain.....

Great SUV

I bought this SUV used and I love it. It has all the bells and whistles I wanted. It is a great riding and driving SUV, very comfortable, lots of room and the gas mileage is great for a vehicle of that size. Wish Hyundai still made the Veracruz, I would really consider a brand new one.

Big, capable, comfortable

I'm impressed with the Veracruz. Too bad they stopped making it. The size is perfect, the features are plentiful and handy (wife really loves the power liftgate) and the car rides and handles superbly. Fuel economy is very good for such a large vehicle. The extra third row seat is handy for families. Build quality seems good, and the engine/powertrain seems adequate for the vehicle. It's not a pavement burner, but the 6 speed transmission allows good use of engine power.

This is our second Vera Cruz.

We are broken hearted that Hyundai has discontinued making the Vera Cruz. It is a roomy, comfortable car on long road trips. It's easy to drive and gets up to 28 mpg on the road, about 18 around town. Have had 6 adults in it and all said they were very comfortable and no legroom problems. With the seats down it will haul as much stuff as my pickup truck. I would happily buy another and another if they were to resume building this car.

It is very unfortunate that Hyundai ceased production of the Veracruz, because it was the perfect fit in the CUV market. Good looks, roomy, ease to drive, all the creature comforts, and reliable. What more could you ask for.
