Oil change took too long. I do not look forward to a service. Who knows how long that’ll take if an oil change alone took more than 2 hours

Service advisor Javer is exceptional. He is the ONLY reason I continue to bring my car to Puente Hills Hyundai for service. I have been made to feel less-than-important by other service advisors and even called a liar by one of them. Javer keeps me coming back.

Had an 8:00 am appointment. My car was checked in immediately .
Javier Esquivel set me up and assured me that my car would be done in about 1 hr. He told me he would find me or call my cell when the car was done. Sure enough, at about 9:00 he found me and I was on my way in about 5 mins.

My service adviser was acceptable, she kept me in the loop with my vehicle, and did what she could to assist, for the most part. However, the tech that worked on my car was crap. I took my car in because it broke down due to a recall for the engine (metal in oil), after i had already taken it in and they said there was no issues related to said recall. Anyways i get my car back (on Friday before a three day weekend) drive it around, and finally arrive home for the night. When i got in it the next day my wife was outside and heard a noise coming from the engine (did not hear the night prior due to radio/driving with the windows down). I open the hood and notice that my serpentine belt is not on track, in fact it was probably close to 1/4 inch off track. ON TOP OF THAT my engine was missing a bolt, where the alternator connects/mounts to right side of the engine/connected to serpentine belt. This is completely unacceptable, no one offered to replace my belt that wore 1/4 inch off track for 100+ miles due to their negligence, and how in the hell do you miss a bolt, that could have caused a serious problem resulting in a possible car accident. I love my car, but i will never buy a Hyundai again. I was/am extremely upset about the service i received. I will try to convince any one i know to never buy a Hyundai either. OH I ALMOST FORGOT, the warranty for my car that is under my and my wife's name was in my fathers name. And no one had any idea how this happened or how to fix this, and i have yet to hear any update on this. I am not trying to get any one in trouble, but again this is completely unacceptable, and my car will never go back to a Hyundai dealer/shop unless its for a recall or warranty issue.

Quick to advise services, then you pick up vehicle and then don't have anymore time for you. the only reason i bring in our vehicle for service is because we paid for extended services.

Longest oil change ever
Even with an appointment - I had to wait to be checked in - I had to inquire about my car almost 1 1/2 hours later - then find the service advisor and then wait for a cashier to take my money -On top of that I felt I was given erroneous information regarding the cabin filer.

Car sent in for simple oil change. Turned down extra maintenance. When I got car back, there were new grinding noises. Called to report, no one assisted. Finally got through, and was told it was not their fault and was laughed at. Never purchase a hyundai from any dealer, bad experience at both locations I've visited.

I received the car as promised and it was even washed. Joseph went out of his way to change the battery on my key fob. Only complaint is that it took about 20 minutes to get my car brought up front which is rare. I’ve never had that happen before.
