When I returned to pickup my vehicle I was sent a video of the service job with the announcement that both the cabin air filer and engine air filter needed to be changed. I checked the pictures per the video and both filters were not that dirty and validated that fact further. Please note that at time of service my vehicle had less than 10,000 miles.
When it came time to check out, I mentioned to the service tech that I would need for her to validate that the required service had been completed if asked by the extended warranty company of which the Hyundai dealership had sold to me. I was told that this was not her job. I called the number anyway in front of this service tech in case there were any questions so that she too could hear and validate the discussion and associated token number.
The tech stated that they had never heard of this before. I suggest that Hyundai train their service techs more thoroughly in this area and in customer service.
