This current visit was pretty quick in and out for a minor repair. However, I am still waiting for things that I've been requesting for almost two years. This is why I will not recommend this dealership. My experience in sales was awful, however, service is good. I only come there to make sure my car has manufacturer parts whenever needed. Outside of that I take my business elsewhere.

For the record, I've owned/leased five Hyundai vehicles since 2010, of which two were from the Genesis Family. I've purchased from two local Maryland dealerships in the past eight years and notified both in writing that I would be interested in purchasing a sixth vehicle, and have not heard from either of them. In this day in age, with all the technology at our disposal, maintaining customer relations should never be a shortcoming. I'm taking time to advise you of what's not happening for existing, loyal customers. And for me, it's a problem that may be irreparable, forcing me to take my business elsewhere.

BAD SERVICE
I came to the dealership to have my brakes looked at because I was hearing a grinding noise when slowing down. After waiting for 2 hours I was told that my front brakes were a 4 and I still had time on them, but would have to replace them in the near future. And I was told that my rear brakes were at a 6. I informed Mr. Seal Tolton that I was going out of town to NC and he informed me that I would be safe to drive. The next day I had my brakes looked at and repaired by another mechanic. He was able to look at it without taking the tire off and showed me the difference from the front and the back and not only did I need front and rear brakes, I needed rear rotors. There was no pad left to my rear brakes. After hearing this I was a little upset because that mean I would've been on the road with my three children and anything could've happened. After this how can I trust coming here to have services done in the future if the staff our willing to japradise people lives.

This place wouldn't be my first choice
When I dropped my car off overnight, the secretary was very rude. All I wanted to know if my car was safe. And she made it known I was getting on her nerves. Also they claimed they washed my car. But when I got it, it was filthy. What exactly did I pay for?

Grear for sales not so great in service dept
I didn't like customer service. The nice went away when I wouldn't let them do extra to my car. 200 to flush brake fluid really . I just replaced my filter swore they we had took to my mechanic they were fine. I don't like to be fleeced. Changed part on my stering column left message on my sheet that no one would explain. I guess cause I'm a lady I wouldn't get it. Car was suppose to be clean wasn't said machine broke but all the other cars were clean but mine...wont be back for service I can get treated poorly by my house.

I really don't think customer service is a priority. As requested by his response to my first review, I called Mr. Benack two weeks ago, he was not available and I left a message. No call back to date. I love my 2015 Sonata and I would prefer to deal with the dealer for repairs, oil changes, etc.. but I think I'm going to find another service provided.

I am extremely disappointment with Pohanka Hyundai. I have been taking my car to this dealership since having my car and trusted their advice. Approximately 3 months ago I began having trouble with the battery of my car. I would go through period of not having my car start, having to contact roadside for a jump and then taking it to the dealership to be evaluated. On at least two occasions, the tech stated that there was nothing wrong with my battery and that it was good. On the third occasion, the tech indicated that the battery issue was due to factory issue with the gear shift, of which they replaced. At that time I again inquired if there was anything wrong with the battery and if it needed to be replaced, and I was assured wholeheartedly that the battery did not need to replaced and should last.

Two weeks ago, I had to replace the battery. When I inquired as to what happened to it, I was really provided an explantation other than it "it could be for a multiple of reasons". I then had to pay for the replacement as the warranty had "just" expired. Had the battery been replaced when I began having issue three months, I would not have had to pay anything.
My car is barely two years old and I should not be having any major issues with my car nor taking it back and forth to the dealership.

I am disappointed in the service and overall quality of my car if I continue to have issues.
