Routine Maintenance
While I was happy with the way the service writer discussed the oil options with me and reviewed everything that was checked, I was disappointed with the time it took to let me know that my truck was ready. I could see my truck sitting in the lot (with the parking lights on) for over 15 minutes. When I went into the service bay to find out why I was still waiting, the service writer was eating a breakfast sandwich and claimed that he was "just finishing the paperwork". To me, this is not acceptable service as I was told my truck would be ready 8:00-8:15am and it was 8:20am when I went into the service bay after seeing my truck sitting. Thus, my truck was ready in the time promised. Additionally, the gentleman that helped me when I first arrived made a note for the service writer to check on the recall for my other truck and discuss scheduling with me, which did not happen and after seeing that breakfast seemed to be more important than making sure everything was taken care of, I didn't inquire again. I will call and schedule that with a different service writer.

Oil change appointment
Took my Escape in for oil change. I told the service writer that I would need to wait for the service. I was informed it would take an hour. I checked back with the service writer 75 minutes later. He was talking to the another service writer and eating with my paperwork sitting in front of him. How long was the paperwork sitting there? We also had to wait a month for this appointment.

I would give the person who worked with me Tyler a 5 star rating. However the fact that the 2019 Ford Ranger truck that has only 34,000 miles on it needed new rear brakes AND that those brakes were not covered by warranty or the extended warranty I purchased, is very distressing. I've never owned a vehicle in which the brakes went out so quickly. Tyler was good. The truck and its warranty is not.

Oil change tire rotation
Price quoted over phone and on the signed work order was increased when paying from about $50 to $60. The technician claimed error guessing the engine size and oil needed. Not looking to take advantage of a business but a signed work order is normally honored.

Service is getting worse
Having to wait to get the truck serviced either means our community is too big tvese days or ford is not building them like they used too.

It took over a week of waiting to get a date. When I arrived to drop the truck off a day ahead of schedule i added a few items to the service request.

When I returned two days later, because the truck want looked at until later in the day instead of early the day it was scheduled, the additional items I requested to have completed were not.

I had to wait longer at the dealership.
$600 for a 60k service, wipers, air filters and new tail light bulbs.

Mike, you have to figure something out or i am gone.

Excellent truck service. Tyler tried to sell tires Wanted to hustle me right in! We purchased tires 2 years ago there and got 36k miles on a 65k mile rated tire. Tyler was supposed to check into this and get back to us

What good is a warranty??
It was great finally somebody took the time to look up the history of car. And I was right the windshield was replaced which my salesman (Ray) and the woman in charge of service denied it what a bunch of frickin liars!!! To Lazy To Look Up!! The A pillar trim flew off the car during the full BUMPER to BUMPER FORD 12 month warranty went in to get piece replaced. Said the glass was never replaced but yesterday a parts man looked it up and it was right there in the records!! but I still had to pay for half of it even though I payed for full warranty. What good is a warranty when you can't back it up.
I saw the R code mustang in there love it and want it(I can pay cash with no salesman involved) but if you can't cover a warranty for an explorer you probably won't cover a mustang!!!

A simple oil change. No tire rotation. Still took two hours. With a scheduled appointment!!

Way too long to have to wait for an oil change with a preplanned appointment...

pressure to perform maintenance
When dropping off my vehicle for an oil change, I was immediately informed that it needed hundreds of dollars worth of "scheduled" maintenance. This was not mentioned over the phone when I scheduled the oil change and before it had been looked at by anyone. I asked that only the oil change be performed at that time. (Which was honored). After leaving the car for its oil change, I reviewed the Ford recommended schedule for maintenance under normal driving conditions. None of the maintenance I was encouraged to have done that day were (per my manual) due to be completed. I asked a mechanic (not an employee of MW Ford, but a trained mechanic) what was recommended for my vehicle at its current mileage and he agreed with my assessment that it was not yet time for the maintenance recommended by your advisor. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, my advisor informed me that it now needs new rear brakes, and it rotors turned and perhaps replaced, at an additional $400+. I was informed that it could be done right away. It may need the brake job, but the experience earlier that day left me suspicious. If I had just said "go ahead" to the recommended services, my service bill would have gone from $45 for an oil change, to just over $1000 for maintenance that my vehicle likely does not require at this time.

Linda, we understand and hear your concerns. We apologize for not communicating clearly. Every vehicle has two maintenance schedules - one for normal driving conditions and another for severe driving conditions. What we failed to explain was that we recommend that customers adhere to the severe driving condition recommendations due to the local weather extremities and the toll it takes on vehicles. Every vehicle is unique and requires maintenance at different intervals based on the environmental and driving conditions in addition to mileage considerations. We hope that this explanation clears up the miscommunication that occurred when you picked up your vehicle. Trust is important and we hope that we have the opportunity to regain your trust in the future.

Service Visit for oil change and check up
I love MW Ford. We came there because of John Mendonca- an amazing manager there. However on 2 different visits we have brought up concerns on the behavior of the Transmission and the brakes on the front drivers side. to the service team... they squeal and have since we bought the truck. The service folks have given us different explanations on what "MIGHT be the issues on both the Transmission concerns as well as the brakes... I would rather they take it apart and fix the issue. But what do I know :) other than that they are top notch.

It would be nice if the tire pressure was the same on all tires. Not 5 or 6 lbs all over the place , maybe we need a little more training and not trying to sell services that are way below Ford's suggested schedule .

Vehicle Full Service
They did a wonderful job on my vehicle, and I watched them drive it out to the parking lot and leave it. I assumed they were not finished, but after a half hour it hadn't moved so I asked when it would be done I was told not until the mechanic completes the paperwork. I waited a while longer and walked by my car where the paperwork was seen lying in the front seat. I am very disappointed that it took so long to get my vehicle back.

Wife had to go ask if her car was ready after seeing her vehicle sitting in the parking lot for over 15 minutes. Recommend being a little more on top of things when you have a customer waiting on there vehicle.

didnt like that I had to wait 1/2 hour after the service was done
Everything was great, friendly staff,
the only thing that upset me was I saw my car being parked after
the service, but it was 1/2 hour later that they came and got me.
I did not understand why it took so long to get me.

employees not very well trained and don't know their products
service writer was condescending acting like I did not know any more about a vehicle than putting the key in, starting it and driving. He just started saying things that were B.S. to try to justify taking over an hour to do an oil change after waiting more than a week plus to get an appointment ( for an oil change? ) I can't see this dealer making it with this kind of service. The parts department is no better, young guy behind the counter does not know how to do his job and just starts with the B.S. talk making up stuff rather saying he is incompetent. I asked him how to turn side mirror heaters and he said they are on all the time so I said then if they are fogged up they must be defective then he states not necessarily. He told me the standard side mirror would cost $800.00 each ( I went to a ford parts website and found # 17682 right outer mirror, power heated memory folding body color for $315.43 ) not quite $800.00. The management might want to do some training of their employees. I previously had come in to find out what other years the running boards on my truck would fit and the same parts guy said that info was not in the computer, I highly dought that the parts department today can do less the what could be done back in the '70s. It sucks because of employees like yours and not having competition neer by this may be the last Ford I will own.

Wait is forever
Every single time I need an oil change there are no same day appts available. I always have to schedule a week out. And even then I make an appt and it still takes a long time before my car is finished. Everything is always done correctly but not in a timely manner. I dropped my car off 2 hours before the scheduled appt because my day changed and my car still wasn’t ready for 3.5 hours!! Just for an oil change!

There Staff are very polite and there service
There service is good when it comes oil Change checking the brakes and etc. But sometimes it depends on what kind of service they will do for your vehicle. Especially making sure that all caps are on like transmission, oil, coolant, window cleaner.
