Had to repaint it, replace trany, replace plastic components. But Engine is Strong but unreliable.
Plastic parts keep falling off, and replacement parts cannot be located.
The clear-coat rotted and so the truck had to be repainted. It seems Ford paint & clear-coat is thinly applied.
Had to replace the transmission early on, after only a few months.
The back cab window leaks in the rain, and costs as much as $1,000 to replace the gasket. More than the price of a new window. This is poor engineering.
The 5.4L engine is strong, with minimal non-standard maintenance.
However, it sometimes fails to start in hot weather and must sit overnight to recover.
