2007 Honda Pilot

This has been an absolutely fantastic car. The only thing I have done in the 6 years of ownership that was not routine maintenance was to replace a radiator. Otherwise it has been dependable for driving around town and towing my boat. We were considering purchasing this used and brought it to my mechanic to look at. At the time it had 57,000 miles on it. He looked it over and said it had been taken care of and at 57K it was barely broken in. It has 177,000 on it now and I am thinking of replacing next year. Not because it is not reliable. I just want a different color and a few more options that were not standard in 2007.

2007 Honda Pilot

Love my 2007 Honda. There are a few things I would like to change (the seat covers stain even when water spills), and the sound system that came with my car leaves a lot to be desired.

Happy as a clam

Honda Pilot 07 is a work horse. Very little maintenence or issues with this model. I would buy warranty if I were to buy newer model as I have used mine for CD player replacement for $1,000. Perfect size for family, camping, soccer and Realtor business.

2007 Honda Pilot

We like the Pilots size,looks, and handling. The things we don't like are the poor quality of the leather seating, and the very loud road noise. We have gone through 2 drivers side seat cover backs in 70,000 miles and will be buying a 3rd one soon. At over $600 dollars each it is unacceptable. Our previous car, a 1994 Toyota Camry with leather seats still looked like new at 130,000 miles. Someone in design should take note and improve the quality of the leather seating, unless you are just trying to sell seat covers! I have owned many cars that I have driven over 100,000 miles and never had this problem before. The road noise on the highway is so loud you have to turn the radio up a lot to hear the music, but when you slow down the music is way to loud so you have to turnout down again You are constantly forced to adjust the radio or turn it off!

I have always been bothered by the road noise. It's difficult to carry on a car conversation as well as talking on my blue tooth while driving.

Tank

I love my 2007 Honda Pilot. I have a tall family, and I have ample room. I have been rear-ended twice in my Pilot and had minimal damage where the other vehicle had major damage. I have had not major issues with the year of Pilot where I have heard that other years have had issues with the transmission, window leakage, and airbag. I lovingly call my Pilot "Tank", I feel safe driving with my children over the mountain passes, through the snow and on long drives. Currently my 15 yr old is learning how to drive in my Pilot, he feels safer than in the sedan that we own.

2007 Honda Pilot EX-L

Great vehicle for long distance travel or hauling/trailering. All around performer-have owned a 2005 & 2007 totaling 335,000 miles of great motoring.

dependable and almost drives itself

Pilot is very dependable. With AWD and traction control it feels like it drives itself. With studded snow tires we drive private roads to our house at 2500 feet and have never been stuck; locking differential works amazingly well. Feel very safe driving our 2007 Honda Pilot. Our son and family who also live at 2500 feet liked it so well that they bought a 2008 Honda Pilot.

Love my Pilot

I was in an auto accident recently and had a rental car for over 30 days. When I got my Pilot back, I appreciated it so much. It had more quality, better visibility, more power and better handling. I love my Pilot.

Pilot is perfect for the Northwest

The 2007 Pilot has impressed me on all road surfaces/conditions and has proven to be an excellent all-around family SUV. It has better traction on snow/ice/gravel, more comfortable for commutes and long trips, and easier access than my previous Tacoma and 4Runner. The only areas where the Toyota's excell over the Pilot would be towing and rough/off-road. While the front weel drive makes it superior in most ways, it cannot cover these rugged items without risking significant damage to the drivetrain.

Honda Pilot

I have owned Honda CRV's since they first came out. I wanted something a bit bigger and heavier. I drove the Honda Pilot and fell in love. It is an amazing vehicle especially with that V6. I get great gas mileage, safety, reliability and can pull a small camper. Both interior and exterior are stylish and functional. It is my car of choice!!
