Elantra GT

I love my car, I really do. It took a little getting use to because I had an SUV for 16 years. I wanted to size down. I also have difficulty with cars because I'm not very tall, so visibility is usually an issue - with seats being low and high dashboards. I found the Elantra fit me just perfect. I felt comfortable and had great visibility. I've enjoyed jetting around the city in it and taking it on the road for road trips. The only three things about the car that I would truly like to change are: 1. the car should signal when you leave your lights on ...it sadly does not. 2. the rear window does not have the ability to spray washer fluid 3. the microphone does not pick up voice well, when trying to make a phone call. I'll say Robin and it will say I am trying to call Michael. The one negative about the car is the Tires. The original low profile tires on the car were HORRIBLE, the worst ever. The car couldn't even handle an inch of snow...it slid all over the place. I'd negotiate with the dealer to put better tires on before buying it, had I known or I'd push for a bigger discount knowing that I was going to have to replace the tires ASAP. Additionally the low profile tires that came on the car; the quality of them, overall was horrible too - they bubbled. The sidewalls would get a bubble and I'd have to replace the car, just from regular driving not hitting any crazy potholes - I was extra extra careful especially after first noticing a bubble right after buying the car which had to have been there when I purchased the car. This was indeed taken care of by the dealership after discussions. Giving features below a 5 because of the TIRES - all other features that the car has I like! And performance an 6 - because of the TIRES! I bought new tires and the car has been fantastic!

Great little car!

At 44,000 miles, it has been a most faithful and loyal servant. The GT was a perfect fit for us in size, performance, comfort, and handling. Though the warranty is outstanding, we haven't had any problems, and Balise Hyundai have been a pleasure to deal with.

2013 Hyundai Elantra GT

Hyundai Service Dept. in Columbia Mo. have always been customer friendly, and has been very reliable in keeping my car in excellent condition. I have nearly 80,000 miles on my Hyundai with no first brake replaced needed, and I still think of it like it's still new, always driving any distance on long trips with no concern.

I call this car my little sports car, that's how much I enjoy driving it. It handles well and gas mileage is excellent. I would recommend to anyone that for the money this car is a winner. The heated seats are fantastic.

Pretty darn good for the money

I have had no real issues with my car in the last 4 years since I purchased it. If I had one concern, it would be comfort. The seats could be far more comfortable than they are. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with the car.

Reliable and fun to drive

I never would've chosen the sport package if I'd bought new, but I ended up with a great deal on a used one and I've enjoyed it. I'm over 100,000 miles now and have had NO major issues. My gas mileage is generally better than what's listed in the Hyundai specs (usually 35-36mpg). I love the versatility of having a hatchback, and I also really like the leather seats and the panoramic roof. One thing to know -- if you get the sport package wheels and live where it snows, you MUST buy snow tires. The tires that come on the vehicle are CRAP on snow, and not even that great in heavy rain.

Four years of driving this 2013 Hyundai Elantra Gt

i bought this vehicle because of the mileage rating. I am totally surprised at what i got. i travel sometimes 250 miles or more in one trip and do this a couple times a week. i know that the fluctuation of the MPG is normal, but i always end up at the end of my trips with the MPG rating of 40+ miles. i have also fallen in love with the way it handles. i drive from sea level to 8000+ feet elevation, and it just flies and handles turns and gulches with ease. Thank you for building this vehicle. Seems it was made for me.

I have had my car since new. I enjoy driving it alot . It is over four years old and still drives and looks like new. We have had know problems with this car at all. We now have over 32,000 miles on it. Hyundai makes a great car.

Great Car

I love my Elantra GT; it gets great gas mileage and very reliable. I've had my car for about 5 years and have not had any issues. I hope they come out with a hybrid or an electric version of the Elantra.

I love the little car,it sporty even after 87000 miles.Good highway mileage,and love the lighting. It has plenty of room and will try it out with my first grandson this summer. The gas milage is good on it in the warmer months.

Hyundai Elantra GT safe and reliable

This is our second Hyundai Elantra GT that we have owned. Our first one was totaled in an accident. Fortunately, the driver walked away from the accident with no injuries. The Hyundai Elantra GT is a very safe vehicle and sure withstood the test during the accident. That is why we decided to replace it with another GT Elantra. Overall, the car is comfortable to drive and is a real value for the money. We are satisfied with the vehicles overall performance.

Great car

I just love my Elantr GT! Just the right size for me. Easy to park and when needed I can load it up with quite a bit of stuff! It’s also great on gas and rides nice. Whenever I give someone a ride, they’re always amazed at how roomy it is inside. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Hyundai Elantra GT

I love my Hyundai Elantra GT! Do not be fooled by the hatchback label. The car is sleek, very compact, and most importanly, very spacious in terms of cargo and comfort for drivers and passengers alike. The car drives really well, and it has a very distinct European design to it, which will make people react very positivelly. It drives well on any street, and its a smooth drive on highways. Great value for the money, especially for versions with the extra features. It it totally worth it and always a plus. I drive to and from work every day and occasioanlly go on very long road trips. The reliability, comfort, and storage space make the car a perfect fit for any driver. I would reccomend this car to anyone looking for something as an alternative to a sedan. Keep it up Hyundai!

Really like this car. It's a 2013. No problems. Going to buy new one this year. Liking the 2019 Veloster, especially with the latest tech stuff like collision alert, pedestrian alert, lane alert, rear cross traffic alert, 8 speaker w/sub woofer, 2 dooor with 3rd dooor but no handle. Turbo over 200 horses. Can't wait to see later this year. Sure looks good. Didn't like earlier models

Sporty and reliable

My Elantra has room for my legs without squishing up to the steering wheel which makes the seating comfortable. For a small car the road noise is minimal which speaks of the sound workmanship. The car is sporty, does not hesitate to get out of the way when needed, super fun to drive, and remains “up-to-date” in appearance. Lots of features for a small car but not overly expensive. What I like the most is the reliability; I like having confidence in what I drive and confidence in the company I purchase my car from.

Love My Hyundai !!

Perfect size car for me !! Plenty of room with the hatchback to put in my bike or ski 's..or pack for a road trip !!! With my snow tires on the car drives very well in slippery conditions. Very comfortatble and the view in driving is very good !!!
