Elantra Hatchback 2015

So far so good! No problems to date. The only issue I have is the headlights do not extend very far down the road and it is hard to see at night. I turn on my fog lights to see a little better. I would drive with my high beams on if I could.

Hyundai Elantra GT

I really like the car, having it for the past 4 years. I would have like the suspension a little better & higher off the ground, but very good otherwise. I have had 2 previous Hyundai’s, 2011 Elantra & 2012 Tucson and enjoy the reliability and comfort of the cars. Would like to see a better quality of suspension, but in the climate I live, I can understand that the roads can be rough at times.

good experience

All in all, I have really enjoyed my 2015 Elantra GT. It has pretty good power, and doesn't burn all that much fuel. It's fun to drive and very nimble, kind of sports car like. The ride is smooth, but you can still feel the road when you're driving, which is a good thing. Lots of standard equipment that is not always standard on other brands. The factory brakes lasted longer before needing attention, than any car I've ever owned. I did have an engine problem that popped up at about 95000 miles, but it es still under the 100000 mile warrantee, and Hyundai replaced the needed parts and labor, along with a courtesy car, and got it repaired in a week or so, and it's back and running good.

Performance on the vehicle compare to the one I had.

would have liked to have better gas mileage for such a small engine and would have liked the vehicle to handle better in the snow. My mercury cougar did better on both.... larger engine and better in the snow.

We would much rather have the Sonata but we wanted a rear wiper so we had to opt for the Elantra no rear wiper Is offered on the Sonata Limited for a reason we do not understand It should be a safety Issue we have a snow and Ice problem here In the Northeast and It sure would be nice !

Love the 170 hp engine, very peppy. Love the fold-down rear seats-creates huge volume in the back. Still good mpg. Vehicle is greatly effected by headwind (>20mph) mileage suffers and auto shifts while in cruise control. Raised buckled pavement will get the car to temp lose contact with road. All in all a fun car to drive.

I purchased this vehicle for the mpg. I commute 110 miles per day. I have only puchased tires for it due to the rough roads. So far has been extremely reliable.

Love it!

This car is great. I had an Elantra before but not a Hatchback. It was totaled and I came back for another one. This Elantra is smaller than my previous one and I am in love. I don't require a lot of technology. This car is not for you if that is important to you.

My GT

After owning the car for a few years . I found problems with the tires the front two were replaced . The car has a lot of road noises during driving. It also had an ingnition problems the car would only go about 15 miles an hour a d back firing . The car has developed a musty order inside and its real bad as the temperatures rise.

excellent car for seat comfort and ease of city driving. Also very good on high speed driving except for wind noise and tire noise. seating for both driver and passenger is extremely comfortable.

Purchased my Elantra in August 2015. Have done the routine oil changes. However - at under 60,000 miles have had to replace the tires and at 36 months had to replace the battery. Biggest complaint is the cargo/trunk area has had issues since day one that no one has been able to repair.
